Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut in Ordnung
Pros:

Lage war ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel ist ein sehr, sehr altes Gebäude - dementsprechend natürlich auch die Substanz. Bei der Einrichtung der Zimmer wurde sich allerdings viel Mühe gegeben. Da das Hotel äußerst kostengünstig ist finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut gerechtfertigt. Man darf sich halt natürlich hier kein 5-Sterne-Zimmer erwarten.

Sufficient if needed in the area
Pros:

Room is big, cheaper than what’s in the area. Central to fores

Cons:

Breakfast took over an hour I make - just ordered scrambled eggs. I think they only had one staff member
We asked for the Maid service - only changed bins and pulled up bed. For three days they didn’t replenish cups (left dirty ones laying there three days), didn’t replenish towels or anything
It’s up alot of stairs!! Careful if accessibility issues
It’s noisy for seagulls
Staff are nice but so young - one girl in training was really trying hard

dreadful noise ruined our stay.
Cons:

the noise in the room was intolerable. We were above the bar and the side street and the mayhem continued until after 2 am in the morning. The police were there around 1 pm but this didn't stop it. As soon as the police left the racket ramped up again. We knew something was up when we found earplugs on the side table. This isn't acceptable when you have to get up for work at 6 am. Marred the stay completely

Friendly welcome and comfy beds but let down by no cold water dated decor and sparse breakfast

Drinks coupon on arrival, decor in bedroom tasteful, clean, comfy bed

Cons:

No cold water in our room (tap or shower), very thin windows - sounded like they were open and very noisy outside gulls and pigeons first then people out on the street possibly after visit to pub below. Disposable earplugs were in our room for us so I guess the management are aware and this looks like a frequent issue. They were shouting loudly from around 00:00 - 01:00. Continental breakfast only consisted of toast butteries croissants with butter jam or honey, fruit juice and tea / coffe and there was one portion box of cornflakes. Had to ask for more juice and croissants. Some yogurts and fruit would have been much appreciated, and some cheese for the toast. No space to park / unload car near hotel. Parcel tape around the window pane on one of the windows. Hatch in roof a little open.

Not impressed.
Pros:

Continental breakfast was toast, cereal, an apple and a buttery.
It was clean…but

Cons:

The toilet smelled bad. The sink was old, chipped and cracked, it didn’t feel hygienic. The seagull squawks started at 3am. The earplugs left for us did not stop all the noise and so sleep was difficult. We were not warned about the noise. There is no lift, nor anyone to help with carrying bags up two flights of stairs. There are 2 sets of stairs, one is for staff only but doesn’t say so until you are halfway down.

Nécessite quelques améliorations
Pros:

Personnel aimable, localisation proche de la gare et des commerces et restaurants. Deux bons pour des consommations au bar, check-in jusque tard.

Cons:

La fenêtre ne fermait pas complètement, donc du froid entrait par la fenêtre ainsi que les bruits de la rue.
La douche était soit glacée, soit brûlante, pas idéal après une journée de marche. Le petit-déjeuner était simple mais bon, sans "vrai" café (seulement soluble).
Nous devions y revenir dans quelques jours à la fin de notre treck mais avons annulé pour réserver ailleurs.

Right in the middle of the village.

Cons:

Doors could do with some bumper tape or something to stop them from being so noisy when closing in bedrooms. As being a shared bathroom people were in and out rooms during the night. But as a budget room it was fine. Reception and bar area are old school hotel. Nothing wrong just slightly dated. Friendly staff. Cooked breakfast is an option just a little extra.
