Not ever again 😒
Pros:

Location is fantastic. On iconic main street. They have WiFi included. Easy access to all the Dinosaur stuff and quiet at night.

Cons:

Not friendly nor welcoming. At first glance the place looks neglected and abandoned. Beds, linens etc very tired and uncomfortable. Curtains couldn't be closed properly because they were missing several hooks. Bathroom was okay but towel rails falling off wall. Restaurant was closed and pool was a stagnant green pond.

Disappointed
Pros:

Good location, quiet, great under cover parking

Cons:

All of grounds need a big clean up. Maintenence required in the room. Refrigerator need repairs to reduce the running noise, turned it off at night. Over 3 nights the bed was not remade by staff. Milk was not replaced.

The room was a decent size for two people ie not a couple and it was in quiet location.

Cons:

The grounds look unloved, there was sometimes no hot water for a shower, and the carpet needed a clean.

Pros:

Location was good, clean room and had basic necessities. Able to watch streaming services on the TV provided in the room.

Cons:

Very untidy grounds, needs alot of attention, shower head was terrible and needs to be replaced or at the very least, cleaned . No communication from check- in staff regarding the complicated power system that we had to work out in order to use anything in the room. The t.v channels just lagged and couldn't watch it. Bed was very uncomfortable.

Pros:

Better than sleeping in the gutter.

Cons:

Managers don't care and it's getting run down. Bathroom stinks. Towels stink. I know it's bore water but it's not that bad. Pool not open. Restaurant closed..

It did have a laundry which was handy to do some washing

Very dated room.
The cleaning staff were great and other than one interaction with the receptionist we had no dealings with staff.

The room was clean and comfortable, decent size and good shower. The manger/owner was pleasant, the wifi was helpful

Cons:

The restaurant and pool were closed, that was not on the website. There is no internet or phone reception in Winton. Most small shops close early and the pub meals were very expensive

DON'T BOTHER
Pros:

This motel was obviously once a great facility but is now showing its age and needs a full renovation. It was well located and only a short walk to the Matilda Centre and shops and restaurants. Reception was friendly and helpful.

Cons:

It was disappointing to stay here. It is in desperate need of maintenance and while the listed things were mostly in the room, many items were broken or missing. Curtains sagged, taps dripped, lights didn't work, the shower leaked under the glass and made the floor slippery, the door lock failed a few times. It had pots and pans in the kitchen but no cook top! As we were travelling, we wanted to cook our own meals but it was not possible.
