This hotel has such high ratings, unfortunately that was not our experience.
Pros:

The free breakfast was good with a large variety of options. The location is very close to the beach. Attractions such as Rain Forest Cafe and Moody Gardens are a short grove away. You can easily reach the front desk, the first night you arrive they send you a text and inform you to text that number and for the most part they were timely and responsive. The pool has a splash pad area for small kids and is heated.

Cons:

Because the location is on a busy street if you are looking for quiet. The walls were thin. One night we were awakened by a couple next door having a really good time if you know what I mean. The person above us sounded like they were having a fashion show every night. There is no central air. Our room had a rusty wall unit that I slept right next to and it was very uncomfortable. I asked housekeeping the day of checkin could we have housekeeping services the next day. I even informed them when we left. When we came back the room had not been addressed. I messaged them on the message line where they had been very responsive prior to inform them we found a baby roach in the bathroom. They did not respond, by that time I was just ready to go home.

Great place to stay with a wonderful view. The room was spacious and well equipped and plenty of storage. The breakfasts

Realmente el personal era muy amable

1 Primero apenas pude dormir en las 4 noches que estuve por el ruido en el piso de ensima
2 el desayuno fue el mismo los 5 dias no uvo variedad
3 la picsina realmente era muy pequeña para la gran cantidad de personas que estavan alojadas

Loved the property and location

Cons:

Well it’s two hotels in one first off. No one told us there was separate breakfast. One side had way better options but we had already ate at the other side, so that was disappointing. The room above us was so loud. We called the front desk over and over until they came in the room to hear it for themselves. They then said we are going to kick them out. That never happened. We continued to hear banging until the early hours of the morning. The beds were not comfortable. The fold out couch was softer than the mattresses. That is all. Other than that great location is about all they got going for them.
