Fantastic new, modern hotel in great location!
Pros:

New hotel with a modern fit out in a fantastic location. Comfortable beds, great rooftop pool with views plus sauna. Tram stop right outside the front. Great proximity to some of Melbournes best bars/ restaurants, the MCG and beautiful Fitzroy gardens. Staff were helpful and obliging.

Cons:

If anything our room was a bit small, and I prefer a separate toilet/bathroom. That being said, would stay here again for location, cleanliness and modern vibe.

Impeccable service, friendly staff, beautiful decor and great facilities

Cons:

Air con / heating system was really tricky to use, resulting in a room that was never quite the right temperature. Room service was tricky to find / use.

Connecting to the Wifi was a bit confusing - it seemed as though you needed to become a member of something, which didn't work, and then it turned out it was not necessary after all.

A lovely, luxe Melbourne stay, with a fantastic breakfast.
Pros:

Beautiful rooms, wonderful luxe touches, stunning breakfast, loved the nods to the building's history as a theatre, and that staying in a Heritage Room let you get a peek at the old building. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

This property does not issue invoices for your stay if you book via Booking.com. So, if you are a business traveller, be ready for problems with your expense report. It was an extremely disapponting experience especially as I stayed for more than a week with them and now cannot close my expense report. In spite of several rounds with the property and booking.com customer service, I am still left along with my problems. this case completely spoiled my stay. therefore, I rate it as 2/10.

Would look forward to going back for a longer stay in a different room with city views

We really enjoyed the Breakfast as there were plenty of vegetarian options available that suited our family's dietary needs.

The rooms were clean and quite comfortable in all respects.

Cons:

The view from the rooms were not good though we were on the 4th Level.
