Super friendly and great location
Pros:

Not sure if is because of Hanoi or because of lovely Selena, hotel manager who made this stay unforgettable . The hotel is in excellent location within Old Quarter with most of the main attractions just short stroll away. The rooms were nicely presented and had all required amenities for a very comfortable stay. But again, need to mention lovely Selena who was kind of all time there, making sure that all guest are taken care of. Thank you Selena for making sure that we enjoyed our stay at Media Central Hotel.

Cons:

There is absolutely nothing to write about it not liking it. The fact is to mention , just few shops to the left from exit is small Bahn Mi shop, make sure you get some there - delicious.

Old Hanoi charm and the magic of Selena

I am not sure if it was the magic of Hanoi or the lovely Selena, the hotel manager, who made this stay so unforgettable!
The Media Central Hotel is in an excellent location right within the Old Quarter, with most of standard attractions just a short stroll away. The rooms were beautifully presented and had all the required amenities for a very comfortable stay.
But I truly need to mention the lovely Selena again. She was always there, making sure that every single guest was perfectly taken care of. Thank you, Selena, for making sure we enjoyed our stay so much. We will definitely be back!

Cons:

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this place.
Local Tip: Make sure to check out the small Bánh Mì shop just a few doors down to the left of the hotel exit—it is absolutely delicious!

A Gem in the Heart of Old Hanoi – Media Central Hotel & Spa

We recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Media Central Hotel & Spa, and it exceeded our expectations in just about every way.

The staff deserves special recognition. Jaimie and Yung, in particular, were outstanding. Both were exceptionally helpful, courteous, and responsive. They went out of their way to assist us with arrangements and made us feel genuinely welcome. Their service made an already enjoyable stay that much better.

Our room was excellent: comfortable, well-maintained, and thoroughly cleaned every day. The bathroom featured a walk-in shower with both handheld and rainfall showerheads, plenty of hot water, and an ample supply of towels. The hotel provides shower gel and shampoo (but no conditioner). We generally bring our own toiletries, so this wasn’t an issue for us.

Breakfast was fresh and satisfying, with eggs made to order, croissants, breads, cheeses, fresh fruit, and all the other familiar breakfast favorites.

The location is hard to beat. The hotel sits right in the heart of Hanoi’s pedestrian district, surrounded by an abundance of local restaurants and food choices. It’s also just a short walk from Hoan Kiem Lake, which is a wonderful place to experience the evening atmosphere of this vibrant city. Despite being right in the middle of all the activity, our room was remarkably quiet, and street noise was never a problem.

We especially recommend the Junior Suite rooms. They offer a wonderful view overlooking the Old Quarter, plenty of space, and excellent value for the money.

One small logistical consideration: when our tour returned after 7 p.m., vehicles were no longer permitted in the pedestrian zone, so we had to walk the short remaining distance to the hotel—less than two blocks. It wasn’t a major inconvenience, but something worth knowing.
