I loved staying here so much that I extended my stay and ended up spending a whole month! What began as a hotel stay became something much more special. As an older woman travelling alone, I felt genuinely welcomed and, before long, like one of the family.
The staff are simply wonderful. When I had a few quiet days and didn't leave my room for a while, they gently let me know they had been concerned about me. I was absolutely fine, just suffering a little travel burnout, but their kindness and thoughtfulness touched me deeply. It is rare to find that level of genuine care.
Breakfast was always a pleasure and kept me happily sustained for the day. I loved my room and was glad I paid a little extra for the rice field view. Waking up to that peaceful, beautiful landscape was a joy.
The owner visits every day and clearly takes enormous pride in the hotel, ensuring everything is beautifully maintained. He is also a talented artist, with his wonderful work displayed throughout the property, and a genuinely lovely person.
And of course, Mr Bean deserves a special mention for keeping everything running so smoothly! The entire team makes this place what it is.
I also grew to love the surrounding area. Rio Coffee Shop quickly became my morning ritual, and I can highly recommend the gym next door for its yoga classes.
What makes this hotel special isn't simply the rooms, the views or the breakfast. It is the people, the atmosphere and the feeling that somebody cares about you. I arrived as a solo traveller and left feeling that I had found a little home away from home.
I would return in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere peaceful, welcoming and full of genuine kindness.

​The entire team reception, housekeeping, the chef, and the owner is genuinely amazing. Always welcoming, smiling, and ready to go out of their way to help.
​The location is unbeatable, very close to the center and surrounded by great restaurants. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and the mattress is incredibly comfortable. A special shout-out to the high-speed, reliable Wi-Fi, which made remote work completely hassle-free. The breakfast was also delicious and varied every single morning.
​Zero complaints, everything was 10/10. We recommend Merrily 100% and will definitely be back. A huge thank you to the whole team!

Abbiamo soggiornato due notti in questo hotel e ci siamo trovati molto bene. É situato in una posizione comoda per andare in centro e dispone di ogni comodità. La stanza è molto carina e spaziosa. La colazione varia e molto buona. Il personale è veramente molto disponibile e attento alle tue necessità.

We had the best stay at Merrily Hotel. The staff were so friendly and took great care of us. The rooms were cleaned every day. Breakfast was delicious and varied every day. Pool was good. Location is central halfway between night markets and beach. Convenience store next door and really good coffee a block away.

Замечательный отель, дружелюбный персонал, номера и сам отель очень чистые, освежающий бассейн, завтрак сбалансированный.
А еще там присутсвуют очень много красивых картин. Место - куда хочется возвращаться.

Everything was great!

Room was clean and spacious. Pool was excellent and nice ending for a hot day.

We loved everything! The hotel is 15 mins from the old town, a really easy walk.

We loved how welcoming is the staff. Mr. Bean is the star of the show but all the staff are amazing! They always greet you with a smile and they’re always happy to help.

We always look forward for the breakfast buffet, it varies everyday and it was delicious.

We are looking forward to coming back and staying here again.

I liked how the receptionist proposed the coconut boat and for us to enjoy.
They were really kind and nice

I enjoyed using the pool, the lovely breakfastand a great view of rice fields.

Uno staff cordialissimo ci ha seguito per tutto il soggiorno. Ci hanno trovato i biglietti delle attrazioni e suggerito i migliori posti da visitare. Stanze pulite e accoglienti, colazione completa e buonissima! Super consigliato
