We had a very nice stay. The room was clean, well-equipped, and comfortable. Close to three metro lines.
My sister accidentally left her jacket behind, and the staff were very helpful in arranging for us to get it back, which we really appreciated.
The only downside was that the room didn’t have a full-length mirror.

For me, the location was perfect because I used to live in the area. I also loved that they had lockers that you could use to store your suitcase. I felt super secure and safe and loved the facility and the room amenities (kitchenette with cooking materials that i didn't use and a fridge!) with plenty of space to open my suitcase and repack. The closet and desk space was also great.
I didn't love that there was a door or fire alarm going off for over 30 minutes before it was finally resolved. Was really hard to do anything during that time, at which time, I happened to be sleeping. The sound could also be noisy at times since the rooms are quite close and i could distinctly hear my neighbors listening to Beyonce, for example.

The location is excellent if you want a "real" Madrid experience. It's a short walk to the Ventas metro or several bus lines to get you into the tourist part of town. The kitchen was small but usable; the internet worked without issues. There are people on staff for several hours during the day.
Entrance to the building and your room is through a code. If the code stops working or you need to contact staff for an emergency, you're supposed to call a Spanish number. But to call, you have to use a standard phone, not a data plan. While the number responds to Whatsapps during the day, it stops responding in the evening. During my stay, my code stopped working, and luckily this happened while staff were present and could fix it. They couldn't explain why it stopped, so I didn't have a lot of faith that it would continue working. Then, starting at about 20:30 and long after the staff had left, the fire alarm went off. Confused guests tried to call the emergency number and discovered that those of us with data plans could no longer contact anyone at the emergency number. While it answered messages during the day, after 18:30 or so it stopped answering. You apparently have to have a standard SIM, such as a local Spanish number, to call the emergency number after hours. This is a strange approach when many of the guests are coming from different continents and passing through town for only a few days so are unlikely to buy a local SIM. One guest tried to borrow a Glovo driver's phone as the fire alarm continued to blare, because he had only a data plan. When the alarm had been sounding for more than half an hour, I used Viber Out to call the main company number and was told that someone was coming to fix the problem. The staff member seemed surprised that I didn't know that. How was I supposed to know it? 45 minutes after starting, the fire alarm finally stopped. I cancelled my planned second stay at the property due to this issue. If you plan to stay here, buy a Spanish SIM or bring a phone that can call a Spanish number, and always carry it with you, including during alleged fires. (Apparently the alarm was due to a guest cooking without using the vent.)
