Aleksandr Pera Hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! It’s very clean, cozy, and has a beautiful new renovation. The rooms are cleaned every day, so everything is always neat and comfortable. The location is also great — you have everything you need nearby.
But most of all, I want to mention the manager, Adam. He is truly amazing at what he does! He’s very open, funny, friendly, and easy to talk to. He knows how to create the perfect atmosphere and somehow brings all the guests together, so everyone feels like one big group. Adam is always ready to help, give advice, explain things, and even goes above and beyond what you would expect.
He really made my stay even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for everything and for creating such a warm atmosphere! ❤️

We had such a lovely stay here! The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Taksim, which made it a perfect base for exploring Istanbul.

What really made our stay special, though, was how incredibly well Adam took care of us. He was genuinely warm, attentive and always seemed to know what we might need even before we had a chance to ask. Thanks to him, we felt truly looked after and at home from the very beginning.

Our room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely little balcony, and the rooftop terrace has a beautiful view over the city — definitely worth spending some time there.

There is a wonderful, warm, family-like atmosphere that makes this place feel much more personal than a typical hotel. And of course, a special mention for GiGi, the adorable and very friendly resident cat, who made the place even more charming.

We left with very fond memories and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Istanbul. Thank you, Adam, for making our stay so special! ❤️

This was my second stay at the Aleksander Pera Hotel, and I wouldn’t have come back if my first experience hadn’t been excellent. Once again, it exceeded my expectations.

The room was spacious and clean, the service was top-notch, and the location is perfect, close to everything, with so much to explore that you could never get bored.

A special shoutout to Adam and Joujou the cat for being such amazing hosts and making my stay even more memorable!

Staff was friendly, Adam is very kind, helpful and makes you feel welcome. As there was another room available, he proposed an upgrade that we were thankful for.
The room was clean and spacious, fresh towels provided, well-functioning AC.

I have stayed at Aleksandr Pera Hotel twice now, and I am already planning my third visit!

Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The rooms are spotless and very clean, and the location is absolutely perfect for getting around. But what truly makes this place special is the incredible staff. A special thanks to Adam - he is such a wonderful, kind, and helpful person! He makes you feel genuinely welcomed and right at home from the moment you arrive.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Looking forward to my next stay! ✨

We arrived incredibly late, around 4 a.m., and Adam ,the manager, was there to welcome us with such a warm and friendly attitude. We had 8 very large pieces of luggage with us 😅, and he was incredibly helpful in getting everything sorted and organised for us. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and cosy, and the location was also perfect for exploring the area and getting around Istanbul.

The stay at the hotel was perfect the hotel is located in a central area, which makes it easy and convenient to get around the city.

The team and staff were very attentive to anything I might need during my stay.

Location an easy walk to Istiklal Caddesi and public transport. It has a lift as well. Bed was comfortable, ac was cold and there was water provided daily. Tiny balcony overlooking the street was cool and there's access to the rooftop for great city views. Downstairs vibe was great with the retro decor and bar and cute orange cat. Adam was a super accommodating and helpful host with everything. Great modest budget choice for solo traveller or couple. Cheers Adam!! Would stay again.

Location: Right next to all the places you’d want to be on your first visit to Istanbul. Super walkable to Taksim Square, Cihangir, Kadikoy. All the restaurants, shops, bars you’d want to visit are a stone throw away
Facilities: Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Definitely punches above its weight given the pricing.
Staff: Both the cleaning lady as well as the managers at the front desk were extremely friendly. I ended up extending my stay thrice, and they were kind to extend me in the same room.
Infrastructure: Had a properly functioning elevator, keycard access to the premises for safety, proper aircon, noise insulated windows which basically shut you off from the noisy street, clean toilets, fresh towels everyday, comfortable mattress and the cleaning service was on time and very accommodating.
Overall, it was a gem with a great experience of a private room along with unmatched location with easy access to public transport/restaurants/bars.
Would definitely recommend for first timers who are lost wrt where to stay in Istanbul.
