Serene Beach Villa

Insgesamt sehr schmutzig. Die Zimmer werden nicht sauber gemacht. Handtücher werden nur auf Nachfrage getauscht. Strandtücher gibt es gar nicht. Der Pool ist „grünlich“ und lädt ganz sicher nicht zu einem Bad darin ein. Das Frühstück ist schon sehr sehr minimalistisch. Die Smoothies seltsam schaumig und schmecken eher weniger. Also frühstücken ist hier eher weniger ratsam. Ich hatte es durch meinen Genius Status inklusive. Aber wir sind zum Kaffee trinken dann ins benachbarte Kaffee gegangen. Da war der Kaffee spitze 🤩!!! Alles viel zu alt und müsste längst renoviert werden. Der Inhaber scheint von Investitionen in Verbesserungen und Erneuerung aber nichts gehört zu haben. Nur Geld ziehen!!! Also für Rucksack Touristen zu teuer und für normale Menschen einfach nicht tragbar für einen würdigen Aufenthalt. Für etwas mehr Geld gibt es schon wesentlich bessere Angebote. Das beste an diesem Hotel ist noch das freundliche Personal, auch wenn die Motivation durch etwas Einsatz vom Inhaber sicherlich gesteigert werden könnte.

The walls and the ceiling had black mould. The ceiling also was vet and disgusting. The bathroom, and the bedsheet was dirty, and an ant family lived next to the toilet.
The AC was working, but the water was flowing out of it. When I mentioned to the staff, the solution was that they wiped it with the rug, they took the rug out and didn't replace it... They left water in the kettle, and both the spoon and mug was dirty. That was simply terrible, we just stayed as we were extremely tired.

Io e il mio ragazzo avevamo prenotato un soggiorno di quattro notti presso Serene Beach Villas, avendo letto le tante ottime recensioni e la posizione di fronte al mare. In particolare avevamo scelto la villa Deluxe, incappando in una truffa come altre persone prima di noi, di cui abbiamo letto le recensioni su Maps solo tardivamente.
Per farla breve, quando arriviamo ci accoglie il "manager" della struttura, un ragazzo gentile ma che di inglese sapeva poco e niente e che ci chiede sin da subito di vedere la stanza per dirgli se ci andasse bene o meno. Onestamente avendo effettuato la prenotazione quattro mesi prima non ricordavamo le caratteristiche di quella da noi prenotata, per cui inizialmente abbiamo accettato e abbiamo pagato per l'intero soggiorno. Solo poco dopo, confrontando con le immagini su Booking, abbiamo scoperto che la stanza non fosse quella da noi pagata, bensì una stanza più piccola e senza balcone privato. Chiaramente il problema non era la stanza in sé, quanto più l'idea di essere stati raggirati. Peraltro, la suddetta stanza aveva il bagno all'aperto (come quella che avevamo prenotato in origine, per cui nulla di nuovo), ma in condizioni di pulizia decisamente sotto qualunque standard di civiltà, con foglie secche, moscerini morti e ragnatele dappertutto.
Abbiamo riportato la cosa al "manager", che ci ha detto di avvisare della cosa il suo capo su Booking. A questo punto, il capo ci dice che c'è stato un problema di overbooking (stessa scusa usata con altri clienti in passato, nel frattempo la stanza da noi prenotata risultava ancora disponibile su Booking per gli stessi giorni) e che pertanto potevamo scegliere un'altra stanza fra quelle che si sarebbero liberate il giorno dopo oppure ci avrebbe rimborsato la differenza se fossimo rimasti nella nostra.

Some water leakage in one of the bedroom’s roof.

Pool is very dirty, looks like it hasnt been cleaned in like two months. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Breakfast was very basic.

When arrived, staff took us to a standard villa, nothing like the Deluxe Villa i had booked (more expensive obviously) They said as there was another group who had booked 4 rooms, it would be more quiet away from them. But we booked a Deluxe Villa. I said this room is not what i paid or booked for. They were trying to downgrade us, just because the other group wanted 4 rooms next to each other. I asked to see the Deluxe Villa. Before we entered, i was told, 'but this is already booked'. The Deluxe Villa was much nicer, and i said 'we want this Villa, not a standard villa. I booked a Deluxe Villa'. Staff reluctantly agreed, and then had to tell the other group they could not have all 4 Deluxe Villas and had to move their bags (this happened as we checked in at the same time and their bags were taken to rooms first). I h ave never had this happen in 15 years of travelling Indonesia extensively, it was a very bad start to our trip. But the Deluxe Villa was great. When trying to get me to agree to the Standard Villa, the staff said "but the only difference is the size". Not true, the Deluxe Villa was much bigger and much nicer. Very weird situation.....my wife and I still dont know what happened there.

Die Wände waren etwas feucht, was bei der Lage nicht verwundert (50m bis zur Wasserkante).

Keine Zimmer Reinigung..Wasser öfters kein druck. Pool warm und Reinigung eher kaum. Frühstück nur tost ohne Butter. ...2 Eier Omelett und Kaffee.
