This was decent for what it was but I will not ever be back until they do some major updates.
Pros:

The staff was very nice, very friendly and welcoming. The pool was a good size as well. Bed and pillows were super soft and comfy. Really good location. Love that it is on the beach. Clean breakfast room. Microwave is available all day.

This hotel NEEDS some work!
Only one elevator works. The elevator needs to be cleaned. There is a lot of dusting that needs to be done. There were two German roaches that I saw on the property but only in the lobby area. IDK why there was a shortage of towels and wash cloths but maybe another order needs to be placed because housekeeping was only able to provide one of each on several days of our stay there.
In the room: bathroom cabinets need to be updated as they are chipped and kinda busted up. The bathroom NEEDS ventilation. There is no fan in the bathroom and the moisture just sits in there so you HAVE to leave the door open to let it air out and dehumidify. There are cracks along the doors. The door sized window opens outward like 3inches, is very bizarre and seems like a safety hazard. The yellow lighting needs to be updated. You have to turn all the lamps on to see in the room. The AC does not work. It must be on one accord for the whole hotel because the thermostat does NOTHING. And the water temperature needs to be addressed. It would not change temperature via the knobs but the temperature varied EVERY time you cut it on (for the shower and the sink). Also, there is no microwave in the room. And the pool was very cloudy for some reason. I literally could not see my feet in the shallow end.

There is NO ONSITE PARKING.

I didn’t like absolutely nothing. There was no hot water. The place is filthy I wouldn’t take my dog there. They didn’t even give us wash clothes in the room ,spiders crawling around like they mate there. Toilet wouldn’t flush shower was clogged hallways are hotter than the Arizona desert staff & customer service extremely rude!!!! $150 incidental deposit for what room are trash check-in 4 PM & early check-in $57 fee. These people are insane It was like staying in a scary movie.

The pool was the best part

My 9 year old son was using the bathroom and all of a sudden I hear a crashing sound and him screaming. The marble tile behind the toilet fell off the wall and on top of him. It was so scary, he suffered a cut in his leg with some bruising. When I went to the front desk, the best the could do for me was upgrade our room (I would hardly call it an upgrade at all) and give us free continental breakfast. I asked for a supervisor or manager and was told there was no one on site and I’d have to come back in the morning. I was told it was an older woman, well I got a younger man who’s response to be was the best they can do is cancel my reservation. Which would leave us with no one to go.
The ac in the rooms worked terrible, or turned on and off and were very very loud.

Not with $200 for the night. Motel-like accommodations.
Pros:

I liked that it was close to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants and places to eat

Cons:

I didn’t love how outdated the facilities are. The gym is overly packed with workout gear that’s rusted and slow. The air conditioner in the main lobby wasn’t working and didn’t work well.
