The service was superb. The valet guy Rome was the icing on the cake. He was very respectful and nice. He made us feel very welcomed.

Charles, Joe and Rome were great!! Very friendly, professional and helpful with our luggage and the whole valet service.

I’m a big history guy, so I’m always drawn to places that have some kind of story behind them, and this one definitely checks that box.

The hotel sits right in downtown Montgomery in a really historic part of the city. What makes it interesting is that it is built from a combination of older buildings, including early 1900s warehouses and even a Greek Revival mansion that dates all the way back to 1851, so you really feel like you are staying somewhere with real history.

The rooms were fun and had a cool rustic feel to them. The whole hotel has that historic vibe, but they did a nice job mixing in modern touches so it still feels updated and comfortable.

The room itself was a little on the smaller side, but in a cozy way and not a big deal at all. The bathroom on the other hand was huge and easily one of the best parts of the room. Little details like bathrobes and a Keurig coffee maker made it feel a bit more elevated and easy to settle into.

I ended up getting some work done in the lobby, which was a great spot to post up for a while. It felt comfortable and easy to hang out there, and having a Starbucks right next to it was a huge plus.

Overall, just a really solid stay. It feels unique without trying too hard, has a lot of character, and is still clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.
