Best location in ueno
It's a good capsule hotel with onsen, what else do you need.
Two years ago breakfast was nicer.

having to trade the front desk your room key to get your shoes at the front every time you leave the hotel is a little inconvenient, but not too much of a hassle.

Very nice experience. I was a bit worried about the shared bathroom and shower areas but it was better than expected and I was super impressed with the quality of these spaces. They had Dyson hairdryers, skincare, haircare, very good mirrors for styling and make-up, etc. And the onsen was super nice. I felt a bit lost sometimes about what I needed to do for example with the onsen so I would have appreciated a bit more guidance/instructions. I would definitely recommend having earplugs since you don't really have a door and if you wake up at every sound then it's going to be tough. The capsule was very comfortable as well, I did not need more than that. I only stayed one night so perhaps this is not the best accommodation long term but, honestly, you are in Japan, you won't stay in your hotel a lot. The location was absolutely amazing! I really recommend this hotel, it's a very nice experience.
I would have loved a bit more instructions/guidance about how to use the facilities (for example, the onsen) since the whole concept of this hotel was new to me. And, for me personally, the pillow could have been a bit more comfortable, but it's just a small detail to make an already great experience even better.

公園無論是春季或是秋季耶有景色,周圍有博物館等景點
JR站過來大約8~10分鐘路程, 周圍用餐廳店多但百貨較早關門, 這裡有公共使用區在位check in 前可小憩非常便利
該旅館提供所有一切沐浴用品,女性有卸妝用品的非常便利
東京下雨時較為潮濕,剛好遇到雨天感覺室內濕氣較重，若是怕吵的人可能要考慮一下，畢竟每位旅客作息時間不同，可以自行考慮，另外進出較為複雜每一次出門都需要提供鑰匙給櫃檯，好處是安全可靠但初次前往者可能不太清楚不過以上都不是太大的問題，就地點來說非常便利

Only saving grace for this place personally was the location which is really convenient and close to a lot of nice spots.
So I booked for 3 nights there and after 1 night I decided to book some place else even though they're not refunding my 2 extra nights because :
1. Bed is extremely uncomfortable, even for capsule hotel standards.
2. You have to be out of your room from 10am until 4pm and if you stay in their common area space, they charge you over time.
3. And this is the worst part and the one that really made me go for a double booking, showers are ONLY for women. They do have common baths if you're comfortable with that, which I am, but they are not tattoo friendly. If you only got small ones, you can buy patches, but if you're like me and you're covered in them, we'll, tough luck, you're not cleaning yourself. This was my fourth spot in Japan (1 in Osaka and 3 in Tokyo) and it's the only one I fully regret booking and would not recommend. There's cheaper and better options out there.
