Very cozy and quite but a bit expensive
Pros:

It’s Quite… nice pool.. clean and facilities work

Cons:

The breakfast was subpar… not a lot of options to choose from. Only variety of Eggs.

Don’t exchange money there or pay in dollars there. They exchange money for half the value outside. It is 3000 BF at the hotel while it is 5500 outside. Go outside, exchange money and then pay in Burundian frank.

Disappointed in facility, appreciated the humanity.
Pros:

Although I could not stay due to reasons mentioned below, I appreciated that the staff remained friendly and cordial throughout and did not charge me anything for the 2 hours I spent at the hotel.

Cons:

I booked a twin room "with a garden view". The room I got was at the back of the hotel yard, far from the reception and not part of the main hotel infrastructure. It felt like being out at the servants quarters. The view included what looked like a vegetable garden under preparation, no grass, no flowers, just dirt ground. The pictures on booking.com do not show this and when the room is said to have a garden view one expects the lush green garden on the pictures.

The room sink was broken and it leaked all over the bathroom floor. It could not be easily fixed. I asked to move rooms and the room offered was a mini studio apartment cost in USD150 (discounted to USD130) per night. My original booking was USD85 per night. I could not stay and had to find another facility, as I did not want to pay almost twice the cost per night, and they could not offer me any other room.

Avoid this hotel!
Cons:

We booked a garden view room, since this is the only option with two separate beds. It is NOT in the main building! We hardly had water to wash! And no towels in the room. No drinking water bottles. Literally no services whatsoever! Even when I went to the front desk asking for clean towels, it took a long time. Avoid this hotel!

AN excellent stay.
Pros:

ambience, room and the supportive staff. The hotel is more homely with a garden with various crops. the room is spacious and the bed is very comfy and clean. the bathroom is well organized. the staff are very responsive and supportive.

The breakfast is not self-service

Cons:

i emailed for an airport transfer 5 months before the trip in both french and in english and they never replied back. i did not even know if i still had a reservation there so i had to unnecessarily take a chance of being homeless

Pros:

J’ai aimé le fait qu'ils m’ont trouvé les chambres adjacentes pour ma famille. Les chambres étaient grandes et propres, les lits étaient confortables, les salles de bain étaient propres . J' ai beaucoup aimé aussi le fait qu'ils m’ont envoyé un chauffeur professionnel et très accueillant me chercher à l'aéroport. Le véhicule était propre et spacieux.

Cons:

J'ai moins aimé le service de restauration car c'était long et le personnel du restaurant était moins accueillant que l'autre personnel.

Pros:

L'Hôtel Safari Gate à un excelent rapport qualité prix, un personnel gentil et très serviable, le menu propose sont de qualité, mais il manque juste qu'il soit proposé de la salade en accompagnements des plats principal.
Leurs salles de sport est très bien équipée et entretenue et avec piscine c'est au atout intéressant.

Pros:

- Sehr schöne gepflegte Anlage mit großem Pool zum schwimmen und verweilen
- Moderner Fitnessraum
- Frühstück in schöner Atmosphäre am Pool
- Leckeres Abendessen auf Terrasse mit Seeblick möglich

Cons:

- Obwohl das Hotel faktisch am Tanganjika-See liegt, ist der Seezugang nicht ausgebaut

Really recommend 6pm
Pros:

This is a great hotel, very clean and super comfy bed. I liked the calm grounds and nice pool view room. Staff are very good. Good place to chill for a day. I stayed in 2 other hotels in the city - this was by far the best one.

Cons:

My only suggestion would be to put some mattresses on the pool lounges - or get more of the comfy lounges around the pool area - 4 is not enoughh. Also snall thing - I ordered a 'fresh' pineapple juice but it was fresh from a can despite them 'confirming' it was fresh - it was not. Food was expensive imho.
