Nice location and pretty grounds.
The facilities were a little dated.
Could not fault our stay, the beds were so comfortable, breakfast was delicious, great location and the staff were very attentive we would definitely book again.
There was nothing we didn't like
Easy to find, plenty space to park
Room clean and comfortable
Good food
Maybe a bit dated
Central location, wonderful view from the breakfast room with very friendly staff.
The early check out at 10:30.
The male in the reception was not that interested in responding to questions.
The carpeted floors.
Beautiful building, like a small castle, very picturesque and lovely surroundings in a quiet area. Very clean inside but VERY dated. Lovely cooked breakfast with beautiful views but again could be doing with a lick of paint and a little attention to aesthetic detail.
Felt the description and photos on booking site to be misleading as apart from nice photos of the building, the photos must have been taken when an event or wedding was on as the room we were in was NOTHING like any of the ones we hoped we’d booked. The hotel had half a dozen people staying so wasn’t busy so I’m sure we could have had a nicer room. Door lock was faulty also but room was spotless with comfy twin beds.
Felt the description and photos of the booking site to be very misleading as apart from the photos of the actual building, the photos must have been taken at an event or wedding as the room we were in, no. 25, was nothing like any of the photos we hoped we’d booked. This was a special occasion for my friends birthday and I paid extra in comparison to some other hotels on offer as the photos looked lovely. This was not the case when we arrived and it was extremely dated. Staff were pleasant enough but the host took us to our room without saying a word and left without staying anything either. No communication other than a grunt of some kind we could t decipher. Didn’t feel welcoming at all. Actually felt a little odd!
Don’t feel it was worth the money we paid for a twin room and wouldn’t recommend to anyone as there are other hotels with nicer interiors for less.
It was disappointing as it looked lovely on the site so we assumed we were paying for that little extra luxury. It wasn’t like that at all and I was a little upset as this was meant to be a relaxing treat for my friend. We ended up only sleeping there as it wasn’t the kind of place you wanted to hang around in. We saw no one enjoying the hotel other than at breakfast which is unusual. Visited a few other properties on route to the town and they were much nicer and cost less so I wouldn’t recommend unfortunately and won’t stay here again.

A Blair Athol Distillery közelsége miatt foglaltunk ide szállást, ami pár percre található. A szállás nema főépületben van, picit avitas, fénykorában nagyon szép lehetett. A személyzet kedves volt, a reggeli minősége jó.

It's a really beautiful building and grounds, the bed was incredibly comfortable. and the staff were really nice - they allowed us to check in early, along with leave the car the following day whilst we explored the local area!
There wasn't anything that my party or I disliked at all! I only wish I could have had a second bowl of porridge at breakfast as it was incredibly tasty.
A wonderful hotel very close to the active areas of Pitlochry. I was there for the Etape Caledonia, and the hotel was well prepared to support cyclists. Early breakfast on race day!
The setting was beautiful and the breakfast was made to order which was nice.
Walkable to town, about a 10 min.
Time for summer bedding, a bit warm.
Enjoyable breakfast.
