Pros:

Die meisten Mitarbeiter waren recht nett, wir konnten Gepäck unterstellen.

Cons:

Unfassbar teuer für unglaublich wenig Komfort. Wir hatten seitlichen Meerblick gebucht, schade, wenn das Fenster total milchig ist. Angeblich soll es renoviert sein. Tatsächlich? Wir waren ganz oben, ein Mini-Zimmer, keine Klimaanlage, die Ausstattung war extrem schlicht (um nicht schlecht zu sagen…)! Im Frühstücksraum ein Teppich übersät mit den Essenflecken der letzten Jahre… und das Frühstück selbst? Mein Mann hatte Pain perdu, leider waren die Beeren schimmelig. Bei über 250€ pro Nacht ist das einfach nur eine Frechheit.

Great food and service and lovely views.
Pros:

The staff members were very welcoming and friendly. It was quiet at night for sleeping. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choice and a longer time frame if you wanted to sleep in a bit more. There was always an option to get something to eat at any time of day. Lots of lovely lounge areas to sit and have drink. And the gardens were impressive.

Chambre très confortable, très propre comme l’ensemble de l'hotel, excellent petit déjeuner dans une salle très accueillante. Personnel agréable et serviable.

Hôtel très agréable. On y reviendra mais on prendra une chambre un peu plus confortable.
Pros:

Tout était parfait. Personnel très compétent et accueillant, cadre très agréable et reposant, un jardin avec vue sur la mer où on peut se poser quand il fait beau, le dîner dans la brasserie attenante excellent dans un très joli cadre, le petit déjeuner au même endroit face au jardin excellent et compris dans le prix de la chambre. La situation à côté de la maison de Victor Hugo. Facilement accessible à pied depuis le ferry si on est pas trop chargé.

Cons:

La chambre était très propre mais le lit un peu petit pour 2. Le lavabo dans la chambre car manque de place dans la salle de bain. Il faut monter un peu dans la rue depuis le port des ferry : prendre un taxi si beaucoup de valises.

Pros:

The food was excellant, and staff very welcoming.

Cons:

The day before we arrived we were advised that the car park was closed. Had to park in the harbour some 15 mins awsy uphill. Last day of pur stay a gigantic crane arrived at 6am, right outside our window. The noise was intolerable.

Pros:

The garden, the communal areas, the breakfast room, Harold's restaurant and the bar. The waiting staff were all excellent.

Cons:

The coffee at breakfast wasn't the best, that served in the restaurant was much better.

Le joli jardin ombragé est parfait pour prendre son temps par temps chaud

Voyageant avec une personne âgée, l'accès hôtel à pied est compliqué (en haut de la colline) et l'escalier est un peu raide

La gentillesse et la serviabilité du personnel nombreux et très sympathique, le bar, le restaurant et ses menus gastronomiques, le jardin bien sûr et la vue sur le port depuis la chambre.

Nous avons réservé deux chambres dans cet établissement pour deux couples.
L'une était à peu près correcte en faisant abstraction du prix qui justifiait une autre prestation (pas de mini frigo, pas de poubelle de salle de bain, fenêtre ouverte et impossible à fermer etc....).
L'autre, catastrophique, a été une chambre de "Bonne" légèrement améliorée avec une mini salle de bain, mini douche et rideau plastique, dans un placard.....
Comme cela ne suffisait pas, elle se trouvait au 3e et dernier étage sans ascenseur avec un escalier difficile et a été attribuée à un couple de personnes entre 75 et 80 ans.....
Un pur scandale sachant le prix lunaire unitaire demandé de 266,34 euros par chambre, petit déjeuner il est vrai très correct compris...
Une petite vue sur mer ne justifie pas tout.
Je pense qu'il faut sans hésiter passer son chemin devant les prestations offertes........A bon entendeur!

Lovely clean hotel with friendly staff
Pros:

Location was great - just a short walk to the centre of St Peter Port and virtually next door to Victor Hugo’s house.

Cons:

My only real complaint (and very minor) was the mixed grill breakfast which had clearly been sitting under a hot lamp for a while.
