Very cosy.
Pros:

Stunning location with lively pub below, a snug to sit in near the bar and a lovely breakfast. The rooms have been nicely refurbished.

Cons:

The rooms are very small with a low ceiling in the bathroom. It is an inn that dates back to the 1700’s so that is to be expected but the room rate is very high.

Great character stay in beautiful scenic area.
Pros:

The atmosphere in the Inn at night was fantastic and the staff were quite friendly.The fact that locals seemed to love the Inn and drink there was a good sign.

Cons:

Cost was high for a stay in this very old Inn. This was wonderful in terms of its original architecture but the internal carpet needed refreshing. Very dog friendly even in the restaurant which may account for this.

We found Skye in general over rated and over priced. Generally underwhelming compared to the rest of the Higlands.

Mooie locatie op Skye
Pros:

Sfeervolle Inn gelegen aan de baai. De geboekte kamers waren ruim en leuk ingericht. De hygiëne was ok.

Cons:

Prijs-kwaliteit is moeilijk te rijmen, maar Skye is in het algemeen te duur. Opvallend is dat de prijzen op de kaart in het restaurant exclusief BTW zijn, iets wat ik nog niet eerder in Europa ben tegengekomen.

Not worth the money.
Pros:

The ocean front location was great, as was the vibe of the old Scottish pub with rooms upstairs.

Cons:

The staff was not particularly friendly. Check-in was confusing, as you need to find a staff member to check you in, but it's just at the bar, which other restaurant guests are using. The line for the bar was very long (it definitely wasn't staffed enough for the crowd there), so we ended up standing around for a bit until someone saw us with our luggage. Our room was small, which is fine, but it had a strong smell of mold, which I think was coming from the shower. The mold smell filled up the room at night, which made it extremely hard to sleep, and with no fan or air conditioning, the room felt stale and smelly. I would say this place is not worth the money, as the price per night was very high but between the staff and questionable cleanliness of the room - not worth it.

Would definitely come back!
Pros:

The charming interiors, the stunning sea view, and the delicious food come together to create a truly unique atmosphere. The staff was very helpful.

Cons:

Unfortunately, our experience was not entirely positive. When we checked in, we found that our window was broken, and the staff member insisted that it was our fault, which was very disappointing. Thankfully, the issue was eventually resolved and the window was repaired. Overall we had a great experience at Stein Inn

Pros:

We actually ate at the Stein Inn. The food was exceptional.
The room was clean and linen was good quality.
View was nice.

Cons:

Room was small, so as two travellers with luggage there's no room. Had to leave suitcases in the car.
Also, we're used to beds in Australia being Queen size at a minimum in accommodation ( mostly King size actually) and the bed is a Double...too small for a person who is 6 feet tall.

Beautiful, inside and out.
Pros:

What a beautiful spot. The pictures got us excited, and actually being there was EVEN better. The rooms were lovely, and the service was great. The fresh seafood for dinner was the best we've had. This place is a gem, in a beautiful location. Can't recommend it enough.
