An ideal place to stay on a budget.First class breakfast.First class host.
Pros:

The host was top draw.Very welcoming.Very helpful.It was so hot.He managed to source a fan to cool the room down.Beds nice and comfy.

Cons:

The shared bathroom wasn’t ideal.We knew that beforehand though.

Confermo le recensioni che scrivono che il proprietario è una persona gentilissima e disponibile,si trova a 10 minuti circa dalla fermata metro,la camera ha due letti e un bagno con doccia.... ottima la colazione tipica inglese

Cons:

I letti hanno i materassi con le molle e sono stati scomodi,e in bagno per la doccia mancava i prodotti per lo shampoo...

Pros:

Manager/owner was lovely, friendly and helpful.
Location was ok

Cons:

One bathroom for 5 rooms.
Curtains didn't cut out early any light.
Very noisy in the night. Creaky stairs, noisy doors and propped open fire door.
Wardrobe leaning away from wall and unsecured.
Only one socket with extension lead next to one of the beds.

Great stopover if you’re travelling north or south
Pros:

The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. The bed was very, very comfortable (and I’m picky). Great location in Gateshead and lovely Indian restaurant nearby (Spice Connection) and fab breakfast to set us on our journey.

Pleasant stay, comfy bed, great host!
Pros:

Owner could not have been more helpful. A lovely man. Bed was super comfy and the morning coffee was good.

Cons:

En suite would have been preferred, down 2 flights of stairs to bathroom.

The location was perfect, easy to park and the room was comfy and clean. The owner was so welcoming when I arrived and makes a great breakfast! Would recommend to anyone

Lovely little place
Pros:

The location was great. Short walk to Gateshead and only £6 taxi back!

Quality, value for money and restful stay
Pros:

Really comfy bed, lovely quiet and relaxing atmosphere, host was helpful and friendly breakfast was great, parking was easy and the whole place was very clean would definitely book again
