Excessable, fair price for room, loved the shower big and hot water
Small towels, and would be nice if another bed side table as only one
The room was clean, very comfortable, and everything looked nice
Quiet night
Long distance to amenities
Building with character.
Good size room. Comfortable bed.
Good range of facilities in room.
Excellent value for money.
Needed another blanket.
Issues with electrical circuits affecting lights and tv.
Very loud on Friday after closing time.
The price is cheap, and I guess you get what you pay for.
Location is central, beds were ok.
Needs some serious Renos.
Bathroom was pretty grim, think backpackers hostel. Trying to get out of the place was a nightmare, a real rabbit warren, made me wonder what would happen in a fire so I looked at the fire evacuation poster in the bedroom and had not a clue where to go, just a floor plan with some colours on it but in no way directional.
Rooms were awesome value for money. Great to have a/c in each room and towels and toiletries provided. Fridge and kettle and sink in each room. Lots of hooks to hang handbags or clothes. Clean fresh linen. Have already recommended this place to others and will stay again. The Saturday night band sounded good and finished just after midnight.
Very steep stairs for the external early exit, would not be good for elderly ppl or ppl with mobility troubles. Locks to our 3 rooms were a bit fiddly, and room 2 door was very sticky requiring full body weight to open. We also had the fire alarm go off for about 30 minutes at about midnight which was extremely loud and we didn't know if we should evacuate or not as the band continued to play for 15 minutes and there was no announcement made and no staff came up to the rooms. It was a false alarm but had us getting out of bed and into clothes preparing for evacuation as we didn't really know what to do when the fire engine arrived and the band stopped. The fire alarm (screamer) outside room 2 did not go off.
Nothing.
The property was terrible from the general noise to the disrespectful behaviour of staff/owner towards those paying to stay at the hotel. The manager/owner who seems to live there stood outside of our room door at some ungodly hour talking very loudly with little consideration for those paying to sleep there. The cleaner once again very loud. Proceeded to use profanity and stated doesn’t give a f if she wakes people up. We ended up leaving after two nights and going elsewhere. No refund provided.
The shower head and hot water.
Common room available
Location.
Price.
Distance to the Toilet from the room was very far from my room.
Highly scented plug-in Air-scenters in the room even though I requested that they not be there.
Booking.com stated that meals were available but they weren't so I had to go out and find somewhere to eat.
The long-life milk provided tasted off and was out of date for over a month.
The comfort of the bed
The bathroom not being in the bedroom. The loud noise happening throughout the night. The pigeon being outside of the hallway. I didn’t even get a pillow case for my pillow. One pilllow case and sheet was covered in stain
Close to shops and meals aswell
Noise 1st night
I quite like the convenience of the location. If I wasn’t visiting my friend, I could still have a great time do many activities. Overall a great Town!
I didn’t realised that the hotel ran a clubbing night on Saturdays and therefore sleep was tricky to achieve. I think 3 beds in a room was a little excessive.
Friendly, helpful staff, and good value for money
Missing light bulb in bedside lamp (quickly replaced by helpful staff), strange layout of the room (towel rail directly over the bed), lack of ashtrays on balconies...
