Great value for money
Breakfast matched price accommodation
Easy walk to town
Could not shower , shower just dribbled
Room was damp . Cold
Same as hotel
Burlington he closed and moved us to his other hotel
Should be knocked down
Stayed in hostels which have never been in such state of repair
Breakfast was great, staff helpful
Nothing
Nice and cheap
It just needs some TLC, the fittings and furnishings are dated, it needs a make over and, constant banging of flipping doors, sort out the door closers properly. My room smelt of some kind of cleaning product for 2 days which I didn't like. No wifi in the room either, the cold water tap seemed to to be working well, it's either completely on or completely off, trying to get the right temperature was a nightmare. Maybe some hanging hooks wouldn't go a miss either.
I have stayed in this hotel many times. I love the charm of the old building. Its only a short walk into town, so perfect for a weekend break. The breakfast is good, and overall its a very budget friendly hotel.
The hotel is a bit tired, but that is reflected in the price.
Staff were great
Shame breakfast policy of Juice or Cereal not both wasn't flexible.
This hotel is very close to the city centre
The bedroom was a little bit dusty the bed was very hard where it was broken
Very good location very good bar pool table and the night staff were very polite
£30 for one night including breakfast, you can't argue with that. And onsite parking.
The bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable. Also no decaff options in the room
Every thing.
Stairs. No lift.
Clean room, nice bar. Very friendly and helpful staff. Decent price and near town.
Room a little cold, bathroom could do with a refurb. Coffee to weak at breakfast
The staff at Burlington and owner of this hotel are always very helpful and go out their way to accommodate your needs. This hotel also serves up quite a hearty breakfast.
Location and price
There was no heating and it was very cold in the room. Asked if they could fix it or anything and they said is the management’s decision not to switch it on. Also too many stairs to get to my room going up and down, doing this with too much luggage was really difficult. Entrance door too narrow struggling with the luggage through it. The corridors smelled as if someone has been smoking weed. At nights they would have some entertainment which I could hear from my room. Really unpleasant experience.
It was funky
There was no usable shower in the en-suite
