We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Gitana. It was nice to disconnect for awhile!
Pros:

The space was beautiful, the pool, terrace, and view! Wow! Staff was very friendly and being a few feet from the ocean was an absolute dream.

Cons:

The rooms were nice but right in the sand, with no way to rinse our feet before entering the rooms. It would be nice to have a bucket of water provided at the room to clean our feet before entering.

Ideal para desconectar
Pros:

Es un lugar súper agradable para quedarte unos días en Chacahua. La zona de la piscina es de 10. Las habitaciones cuentan con lo necesario y la ubicación es perfecta, suficientemente apartada del centro pero suficientemente cerca para hacer vida allí cuando lo desees, son 15-20 minutos caminando por la playa, un paseo muy agradable y merece la pena desplazarse hasta allí para conocer la zona. El yoga tiene un coste extra pero el espacio y el material están disponibles si lo quieres hacer por tu cuenta en cualquier momento del día.

Cons:

Los servicios que ofrecen son caros, desde mi punto de vista es recomendable reservar las excursiones con alguien local, mucho más económicas y hacer la combinada: manglares + bioluminiscencia. Hacer la bioluminiscencia sola no vale la pena. Es un alojamiento dirigido por personas extranjeras desconectadas de la realidad local.

The place is dreamy. You should 100% book.
Pros:

It was the perfect set up - lovely room with a sea view and AC (which was an added bonus). You then headed up the stairs to the amazing infinity pool/loungers and a perfect little restaurant/bar which was great value. It was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time being there. As it was so small, few guests meant it felt very private but also created a lovely atmosphere/buzz as people came in and out for coffee/lunch/dinner. The staff were amazing and made you feel right at home. Could not recommend it enough!

Un lieu magique
Pros:

Nous avons adoré le charme du lieu, les cabanes sur la plage, dormir avec le bruit des vagues, la petite taille de l'établissement, la belle piscine (à l'ombre, très appréciable !), l'accueil...et le côté "aventuriers" pour y accéder, en barque puis en Truck. Nous avons fait une très belle balade en bateau sur la lagune au coucher du soleil, et apprécié les petits restaurants dans le village. Un lieu authentique, calme et plein de charme !

The view, the closeness to the beach, the food and the staff were great.
Pros:

The location is amazing, views closeness to the beach, food and please try the coco ice cream.

Cons:

The room upstairs is too small and does not have a proper closet. The view from the balcony is amazing do not get me wrong, I only had a 28L backback and did not have space to put it.

Pros:

Amazing (cold!) pool and shared space, beautiful view, super friendly and helpful staff. Really nice sea breeze by the pool up on the first floor too.

Cons:

Only downside were the pillows - kinda lumpy, but I think that’s the Chacahua way.

The perfect place to slow down 😌✨
Pros:

I stayed 4 nights as Casa Gitana.
Was planning on staying 2 nights, but I loved it so much and had to extend my stay.
The place was amazing.
It’s located away from the village, which means it’s super calm and quiet. It means though that it’s a bit of a walk into the village, but I didn’t mind it. Walking home on the beach after sunset, in the dark was quite magical as you can see a ton of stars and the bioleminescense in the ocean ✨😍
The facilities were great too, and the pool was wonderful, with a view to the ocean.
Last but not least the staff are such sweethearts, so helpful and kind ♥️
The only thing I missed was a board of their names, as I’m quite bad with names 😅
Oh and they have the cutest dog there. Nothing feels more like home, than a place with a dog ♥️

Also the village and neoghbourhood is filled with amazing people. Everyone was so kind and helpful - and very forgiving of my poor spanish.

Will definitely come back and I strongly recommend it to everyone who likes slowpaced and calm vibes 😌✨

Cons:

I didn’t see any cinema or live-music, which the signs said that they would have. But I had a wonderful time, so it was no biggie

The most amazing beach in checahua. Noelia, Martin, Marc and Helena were amazing, super helpful and friendly. We had a magical stay, we didn't want to leave.
