Filthy place, needs a good clean. Breakfast far too late so didn't get chance to eat .

Great place to stay
Pros:

I really liked the location, comfort and friendly staff. Proximity to the railway station was great for airport access too. There was a very effective fan in the room for a hot day and some great pubs cafes and coffee shops nearby.

Cons:

The shower was a bit glitchy.

Pros:

We had a nicely decorated room with was a decent size,. The bed was quite comfortable.

Cons:

There were cobwebs allover the place, the toilet bowl was dirty, the bathroom floor was dirty, so was the mini fridge.
Initially the water in the shower was scalding hot and it was stuck at that temperature. It took a lot of time and force to turn the temperature down.
The location is handy for the train station, but it is a bit noisy because of the road.

Für eine Nacht geht's, wenn es nicht heiß ist

Lage ist ganz zentral neben dem Bahnhof und Cafés, jedoch auch über dem einzigen Pub im Dorf. In der Nacht war nichts los.
Bett war gut.

Cons:

Zimmer ohne Fenster! Im Dachgeschoss ohne Klimaanlage mit einem Ventilator, der vermutlich 50 Jahre alt ist. Dreckig, Spinnweben, ....
Außergewöhnlich unfreundliches Personal. Dafür trotz Booking Bonus noch 120.- bezahlt.

Stylisches Gasthaus mit einfachen, aber gemütlichen Zimmern in historischem Ambiente.
Pros:

Es ist eine einfache Unterkunft mit historischem Hintergrund. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber liebevoll designt. Es öffnet erst um 12 Uhr mittags. Frühstück gibt es nicht, man kann aber in unmittelbarer Nähe in einem Café lecker und preiswert frühstücken gehen. Die Entfernung dorthin ist nicht weiter wie innerhalb eines größeren Hotels die Distanz vom Zimmer zum Frühstücksraum. Trotz der Nähe zum Flughafen hört man auch kaum Flugzeuge. Wir hatten - obwohl wir nachmittags vom 5-10 km entfernten Stanstedt abgeflogen sind - noch einen richtigen halben Urlaubstag mit englischem Ambiente.

Cons:

Es war recht warm im Zimmer. Ursache war der Kühlschrank, der an einem ohnehin warmen Tag viel Abwärme produzierte.

TV didn’t work - could not connect to any channels
No coffee sachets for the morning. Very disappointing : (
Only half a toilet roll in the bathroom
Hand wash basin plughole was stuck so grey water just filled the basin and didn't drain
