I was here for the Potty Festival and the accommodation was very convenient. The staff were helpful and pleasant. The room had everything I needed. The breakfast was fine.
The room was looking a bit sad. Some new wallpaper and a fresh coat of paint would improve it no end. The window frame was deteriorating and the hanging baskets and all the pots around the pub were sadly full of dead flowers. No watering had been done.

The pub and staff are very good
The room, it was in need if a plumber, the shower ran cold and very hot, the drains got blocked, we were told about this when we were in the room, that was to late to do anything about it, we booked weeks in advance.

Only issue was parking on site only 5? spaces and were always taken so bit of walk with your bags to and from - not sure if used by staff but understandable for small seaside town

Room was okay.
No parking. Had to pay in carpark around the corner.
The staff at the Lobster were very attentive also professional but above all personable and willing really nice people.
No Aircon in the rooms . They did provide a fan installed in the room on arrival it is probably a listed building after all l suppose.

A bit noisy
The Lobster is at the centre of Sheringham and as a regular visitor I've walked past it for YEARS. It does not sell itself as a hotel, it is definitely simply a lovely pub! Our stay was superb. Brilliantly upbeat and welcoming staff, super range of beers and an excellent breakfast. A huge bedroom with a Nespresso machine, 2 huge fans which were very welcome.
Service at the bar was cheerful and the breakfast exceptional and all - included. A brilliant get away in the heart of Sheringham, parking nearby, beach & swims right there and plentiful supply of ice cream and coffee shops.
This is a pub in the middle of a thriving seaside resort, not a high end hotel ( tho quality of breakfast, attitude of staff were definitely high end!) some aspects of our room were a little tired, particularly the fittings in the shower room and loo and the paint on the walls had the odd ding. I'll definitely book again - a self catering option is way more expensive!!
