Pros:

Charming hotel decked out in authentic Albanian decor with amazing views over Goricä district across the river and set into the hills. Great A/C and lovely rain shower. Fabulous staff all spoke English and even carried our bags up the steep steps to our room. Two car spots out front so arrive early to get a spot. Delicious breakfast with fresh eggs, fruit yoghurt vegetables and beignets. Great dinner on the terrace too - top quality all round.

Pros:

Our stay here was great from start to finish. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable, while the bathroom was well maintained. Located right in the heart of the city, the property offers stunning views of the Old Town. The Wi-Fi was good and reliable throughout our stay. Together with its beautiful atmosphere, breathtaking city views, helpful staff, and authentic cuisine (the restaurant is amazing), this is a truly special place. Highly recommended for both accommodation and dining.

Kleines verwinkeltes uriges Hotel mit schöner Terasse und Blick auf den Stadtteil Gorica. Hilfsbereites nettes Personal. Parkplatz vor dem Haus sehr praktisch. Umbedingt kleines privates Museum im ältesten Wohnhaus in Berat-Gorica besuchen!

Da localização, pela vista. Da simpatia dos funcionários e da sua disponibilidade para carregar as malas até ao quarto.
Os quartos são bonitos e confortáveis e o restaurante é bom e agradável.

Cons:

Do barulho da estrada que tem muito trânsito e nem sempre civilizado. Apesar de ter bons vidros duplos, ainda se ouve. Também tem pouca arrumação para a roupa e na casa de banho podia ter algo para pousar o necessaire.
O pequeno almoço tradicional devia ser opcional. Eu, particularmente, não apreciei.

The location was perfect (but not you have to be able to walk up 40+ stairs). Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff attentive and courteous.

Cons:

Dinner was sub par. Staff at night was inattentive and the food was average at best. There are much better options for dinner in town.

Muy buena ubicación, con unas vistas impresionantes. El chico que nos atendió muy amable y atento con nosotros.

Top in Berat!
Pros:

Alles top. Ein Schmuckstück super zentral gelegen. Sehr gastfreundlich, besonders Stefan, der uns bei allem inklusive Koffer vom Auto tragen zur Seite stand. Ganz tolles Restaurant, Sitzplätze verteilt nach oben mit ganz tollem Blick. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen. Sollten wir wieder nach Berat kommen, dann definitiv ins Ansel.
