Pros:

Der Inhaber war sehr herzlich und hat uns noch Tipps für die restliche Reise geben können. Außerdem ist das dazugehörige Restaurant sehr zu empfehlen, sowohl das Essen als auch der Service. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Die Lage in der Burg ist ebenfalls toll für einen Aufenthalt in Berat. Auch das Frühstück war reichlich und liebevoll von der Mama zubereitet.

Cons:

Das Zimmer könnte etwas größer sein, aber man weiß ja was man bekommt. Daher kein Kritikpunkt am Hotel

Comfortable stay in historic mountain inn.
Pros:

Historic property within the castle. A beautiful garden and excellent restaurant. The host is fabulous; very helpful with calling cabs and giving directions and recommendations.

Exceptional location, very friendly staff. Very clean. Home made food, nothing fancy but tasty and served on a nice Terrasse. All in all excellent value for money.

Cons:

If you are over 180cm you might find the beds a bit short. Mattress is on the hard side (was very good for me, but some likes it softer).

LOVELY family owned hotel/restaurant
Pros:

This is a family owned business and they are incredibly welcoming. They have a lovely place with a great location (easy to find as it's near the entrance to the castle). I booked this last-minute and we had decided that we wanted to have lunch there (they have a fabulous restaurant with traditional food). The restaurant was sold out with a few tour groups but they accommodated us anyway. We were in no hurry -- the garden where we were seated was lovely and we were happy to be there. I'm embarrassed to say that I don't know the names of the family members. The son greeted us -- a warm and very funny guy. His father, equally was also warm and funny. The mother cooks the amazing food, I think with the grandmother, and she's also very sweet. They all work VERY hard to accommodate you and make your experience positive, all with a smile and a great sense of humor. Bonus points that the cost is extremely reasonable. Highly recommend.

Fabulous stay in beautiful quaint hotel
Pros:

Loved this place - staff were amazing, room wonderful and food excellent. They organised a great trip to the Alpeta winery in Roshnik which is great for wine, Raki tasting and food
