Great experience
Pros:

We stayed attic rooms, its bit tricky with low ceiling, but manageable 😁. The staff is very welcoming. We can highly recommend their restaurant, very delicious dining. The location in the old castle is an experience for itself

Beautiful castle stay! A bit of a hike to the Castle from the main city but lovely!

On a eu un accueil très chaleureux, je me suis sentie comme un roi. Finalement, un vrai château !
La nourriture est délicieuse, je vous le conseille à 100%. Le prix génial pour l’expérience passée.
Magnifique, meilleure séjour de ma vie. J’y retournais avec plaisir.

Pros:

Location was incredible and it was very comfortable Dimitri was very pleasant and helpful

Hotel in sehr guter Lage direkt in der Festung von Berat. Gutes Frühstück und gute Auswahl an landestypisches Speisen im Restaurant. Vor allem abends, wenn die Tagestouristen die Festung verlassen haben, ist es eine tolle Atmosphäre. Wir waren mit den Motorrädern auf einer Rundreise und haben zwei Nächte in Berat verbracht. Öffentliche Parkplätze sind direkt vor dem Hotel verfügbar.

Cons:

Wenn das Restaurant draußen besucht ist, kann es je nach Zimmer vor dem Fenster etwas lauter sein. Uns hat es nicht gestört, daher auch keine Abwertung.

Unique and comfortable stay
Pros:

This was such a cool place to stay ! The hotel is really well located within the Old Fortress, so you can go for a stroll through the history at any time. The room is beautifully decorated and comfortable, with air conditioning and a generous amount of space. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the on-site restaurant has delicious dinner options

Pros:

The hotel was inside the castle.

Cons:

The hotel wasn't the only one within the castle. The name is kind of misleading. Its a very long and steep hike to and from the hotel. The facilites are also poor. For example, the staff did not give us any water and weren't even available when I wanted to ask for some water. Further, the room was supposed to be stone -walled as advertised in the images. but it was not!

Herrlich gelegenes Hotel in Mitten der Burg Berat.
Pros:

Die Lage in der Burg ist famos. Das Hotel in mitten in der alten Burganlage gelegen. Tagsüber sehr viel Touristen und Hecktisch. Abends und Nachts sehr ruhig.

This hotel is an absolute gem! Superb location, beautiful interior, spacious rooms, very good breakfast. And despite being inside the walled city it has its own spacious car park. When driving, do not be confused by the barrier before the walls - just show your booking to the attendant and they will let you in. The gates are wide enough even though they do not seem to be!
