Cons:

They charged us additional local taxes even after I showed them proof that we are U.S. residents. I presented my Florida ID and passport, but the employee insisted on charging us anyway. I then called Booking.com customer service, and the representative explained that those taxes did not apply to us. However, the employee still refused to remove them from our bill, so I ultimately paid them following the customer service representative’s advice. Booking.com is supposed to refund the amount.
