Quaint & pretty, great location.
Food was outstanding and service. Very friendly.
Very dated rooms with broken fixtures and fittings. Cracked glass dressing table. Mold in bathroom, not rubber secured shower screen, no walled bathroom mirror.
Great coffee machine with plenty off if coffee/milk tea and bottled water to drink.
The room was lovely , the grounds was also lovely. The cleaner was exceptional 👌 the meal we had at lunch was very nice
The full English in the morning was terrible. Raw sausage , 2 very overcooked eggs , hardly any beans . We complained and was given the breakfast for free 9

Very helpful staff despite the hotel being short staffed. Menu was very limited and was not value for money. English breakfast on our first day was ok but continental breakfast on second day was just a joke. The hotel suffers from a lack of permanent manager
More organisation. We felt very sorry for the young lady on duty who was excellent but she was hindered by the lack of senior staff
Didn't have breakfast. Had lunch there which was great.
It is 15th century and wore it well. Very traditional, old y worldy building and had low doorways, sloping floors etc and I had forgotten how annoying they can be at 3am when trying to be quiet 🤫!!!

The room was well designed, comfortable and the best part of the stay.
We went down for breakfast at 9.30am. The chef was at a table in the dining room and a young serving person was present. We received no acknowledgement from them on our arrival, I spoke up and asked if we could have breakfast. We were met with a "umm, oh, umm, oh, I suppose so". I really don't want to feel that I am an inconvenience to staff when I am paying to stay with them. We received our breakfast - the staff disappeared and we never saw them again that morning. Would have loved another cup of tea. Oh well.
Lovely room, comfortable bed, deep bath and loads of hot water. Very good blackout curtains covered the original windowa which also had secondary double glazing. Would be lovely and warm in winter.
Great Missenden looks like a lovely place to visit, too.
it's a 17th century building. The room was over the restaurant / bar and the not very loud music that was playing could clearly be heard through the floor! Earplugs and white noise on my iphone helped with sleep.
Room amazing. Acting manager a superstar, def an ambassador for company and needs a payrise for his going above and beyond
