Overall a great hotel, felt really looked after and really appreciated the free upgrade! :)
Pros:

We primarily chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, which made it incredibly easy to get to by car, just a 4 minute drive away. There was no issue with noise from planes as they don't fly during the night over Salzburg. We stayed for one night at the start of our trip and one night at the end - when we returned for our second night we were upgraded for free to an executive room which was excellent. The room was spacious and had a jacuzzi tub, perfect after a week of hard hiking!
The breakfast was great and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. As a visitor you also receive a 'guest card' from the city which allows free public transport - the bus ride into town from the hotel is really straightforward and easy.

Cons:

Rooms could do with tea and coffee facilities included. We were able to ask for tea but it's not included.
The pillows were way too soft for our liking, but we experienced this in every accommodation (4 places) during our trip so perhaps this is just typical in Austria!

Perfect comfort, service and tranquillity only 3 minutes from Salzburg airport.
Pros:

This hotel is an absolute gem. So close to Salzburg airport that it would take only about ten minutes to walk there, but also very quiet and tranquil.
The staff were so kind and helpful; it’s a family run hotel which shows in the effort made to make each guest feel welcome. Our room was huge ( we got an upgrade with large shower, separate loo, a whirlpool bath and an enormous and very comfortable water bed. In the garden there is a beautifully situated and well- maintained swimming pond - an oasis of calm and natural beauty amongst the roses and trees.
Breakfast was very extensive and generous and we’d have stayed longer if not catching a flight.
We unhesitatingly recommend Hotel Himmelreich as a lovely, well-appointed and very well maintained hotel within a very close distance to Salzburg airport. They have both an underground car park and also some above ground parking. They also do bike hire which we didn’t try but will do so next time we stay- hopefully soon! A perfect hotel for couples, families, friends and single travellers.

Cons:

Pros:

Fantastische kamer met balkon. Heerlijke bedden en fijne douche. Ontbijt gewekdig. Personeel super. Parkeren erg comfortabel en niet duur.

Cons:

Als ik toch iets moet zeggen. Bij extreme warmte zou een airco wel fijn zijn.

Good accomodation with great breakfast!
Pros:

Wonderful breakfast with individuall egg-preparation-service.
Also the personell was really nice and the location was quiet.
Late check-in at 22:30 worked great!

Cons:

The beds itself and the pillow were not that new and i did not sleep that well in them.
The minibar was really warm and we could not turn it colder. But thats a minor thing.

Super Ausgangslage für all jene, die Städtetrip mit Wanderungen kombinieren wollen und dazwischen etwas Erholung im Gart
Pros:

Sehr ruhiger, schön angelegter Garten mit Naturteich zum Entspannen. Gute Anbindung an öffentlichen Verkehr, äußerst freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, sehr schönes und sauberes Zimmer.

Cons:

Frühstück nicht mitgebucht, deshalb zu teuer mit 28€ extra Zahlung.
Matratze war zu weich.
