It was clean. The biggest problem was that what was advertised on booking.com was not delivered. You don’t stay at the hotel. You get shunted to an abandoned motel 600 mtrs from the hotel.
The Railway Motel where we were sent looks horrible. It’s an abandoned site and feels like it. No privacy in bathroom because no door. Smokers in rooms next door comes in your window. I feel this was falsely represented on booking.com. We stayed 2 nights.

No hot water in morning . Left quite early .
The breakfast ingredients were not particularly healthy ie white bread and cereal selection . This could and should be easily fixed eg multi grain bread and sugar free , cereals etc
Lovely old building shared kitchen but it’s very clean, sound from downstairs wasn’t really an issue in my room but I was comfy like I was home

Great kichen facilities for guests to make your own breakfast. Verandah to sit out on to enjoy the early morning.

V.small room, old fashioned hotel/pub type . Nothing wrong with that but whole place was a bit run down.

Very clean, comfortable bed and pillows. Loved the character of the old building and the French doors to the balcony. Kitchen to make breakfast was great.
Look. It's an old country pub and perfect for those passing through. The room was a twin. Plenty of room. It's not a bloody resort. There was no shower and toilet in the room but just down the hall. Having said that they were not communal. Very clean and spacious. The staff were very helpful and the meals were very good. Would I stay there again? I certainly would
The stairs. My knees and ankles are buggered. Not their fault. I didn't ask about any other accommodation they might have had.

Location, charm, safe, secure, clean. Delightful room in an old school QLD pub which is big enough we did not hear any noise from the bar. Bonus offer of breakfast ( cereal, toast) in the shared kitchen. We had the ensuite room, shower was fantastic & little fridge is appreciated, great storage & air con.walk to cafes & bakery with great food & coffee.
The room was a tad tiny, the bed is against the wall so someone has to crawl out the end which was fine for us but people with mobility issues may be challenged
