Amazing venue nostalgically decked out to recreate memories of the past and for future stays.
Pros:

Superb property right at the waters edge. Very clean room with all amenities catered for. Thoughtfully furnished and comfortably appointed. Samara was amazing at the front desk and made the experience somewhere I would definitely rebook.

Shower recess overflowed into bathroom.

I love the feel of the hotel it's kept it's history. It's clean and comfortable, close to everything nice views.

The off street parking is the only thing but not a big problem ,for this stay we got parking at the front.

Good bits (the interior) bad bits location and access
Pros:

The interior refurbishment was well done

Cons:

The access to the room by external stairs was unexpected and the fact of no lift, heavy suitcase and driving rain made it difficult. The contactless check in was ok but it was difficult to see the numbers on the key lock. Being on a busy corner seemed to be a magnet for hoons to practice wheelies and noisy exhaust manoeuvres.

Great place, will stay again
Pros:

Great property, very central and the rooms were great. There were four of us and it was plenty of room. Rooftop is so pretty at sunset!

Cons:

Since there was 4 of us girls, they probably need some more mirrors/somewhere besides the bathroom to get ready.
