Definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a high 2

The location is good, the staff were nice also, and the room was considered clean

Cons:

Was shocked by the fact that there were no curtain for the shower, which made the water spill all outside the bathtub making all the toilet floor wet. There wasn’t even bath items at all except for shampoo. Also the toilet had a little nasty smell to it, and should have had a bidet.

The bed wasn’t ready, and the duvet was inside the closet so I had to make it myself.

There were no tissues at all and no kettle or coffee/tea trays

A bit of noise coming from clubs nearby

Excellent stay in Hotel Bristol.
Pros:

I had a great experience at this hotel, staff are perfectly helpful, breakfast was a pleasant surprise, the terrace at the back looking at the river is fab, I loved my room on the top floor and the bathroom was perfect and so was the AC! It’s also well located. Short walk to the train station and to town and to being picked up by tours and the cafes and the lovely street with the graffiti. So glad I stayed here.

Cons:

I can’t fault anything, it suited me (solo female traveller) perfectly.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt sehr nah an der Altstadt. Was toll war. Die Motorräder wurden direkt vor dem Haus am Gehsteig geparkt.

Cons:

In der Nacht durch die Lage sehr laut.
