Pros:

Hemos tenido una estancia muy agradable. El hotel es bonito, muy limpio y la habitación era cómoda. El desayuno estaba muy bien, con buena variedad y productos de calidad. El personal fue amable y atento en todo momento.

Lo que hizo la experiencia realmente especial fue alojarnos dentro del castillo. Fue un detalle mágico, especialmente para nuestro hijo de 4 años, que disfrutó muchísimo imaginando que dormía en un auténtico castillo.

Pros:

Nice rooms, spacious enough. The hotel is located in the most beautiful part of Berat, right next to the old town and castle of Berat. There is a nice terrace next to the hotel where breakfast is served and you can enjoy a drink throughout the rest of the day, the hosts of the hotel were perfectly nice and helpful. Breakfast was an incredible amount of food every day - very nice and very delicious, maybe even a bit too much.

Cons:

The parking situation was a bit confusing. People in town made it seem like it isn’t allowed to drive your car up to the castle and hotel - for regular visitors it isn’t (and rightfully so!). We asked the hotel owners and they said we were allowed because of our hotel stay. By mentioning this, the gateway was opened. However, in my opinion it would eventually be better if no cars were allowed near these beautiful old buildings and through these old streets anymore.

super de pouvoir dormir dans la citadelle, c'est vraiment très beau

juste que les rideaux ne sont vraiment pas efficaces et pour y monter c’est cardio

Very authentic within the castle
Pros:

Chose the hotel because it is inside the castle, which was the experience we were looking for. Go there if you want an authentic experience and good atmosphere. Enjoyed it a lot and is definitely very good value for money. Can also recommend to eat in one of the restaurants in the castle - you can find some very nice views.

A lovely stay in the castle with a fantastic breakfast
Pros:

It was lovely to stay in the old castle walls. The room was simple and functional.
Lots of excellent nearby eateries available (would recommend eating in the castle rather than down in the old town)
Breakfast was plentiful - filled croissant, fried eggs, omelettes, feta, bread, jam, salad. We were full until dinner!

Cons:

Driving to the hotel site was an experience - you need to be confident on steep smooth cobblestones.
The hotel is also near a bar which was quiet one night but was really noisy the second night (beyond midnight) so earplugs were required.

Perfect stay.
Pros:

Everything really. It’s inside the Berat castle which almost makes it a top one. Good view, very spacious rooms and comfortable stay

klein maar fijn, goedkoop, badkamer kan beter
Pros:

Vriendelijkheid en meedenken gastheer. Wilde ons het echt naar de zin maken, heeft ontbijt op 2e dag zelfs aangepast aan onze wensen.

Cons:

Rioollucht op badkamer. Toiletpot was ook 'lek', waardoor vloer rond toilet steeds nat was.
