A very enjoyable hotel, with a few little niggles.
Pros:

The breakfast was excellent with practically any combination of items you could desire - including making your own waffles - what's not to like?!
The two Nicholases on reception were exceptional in their 'meet and greet' approach.
The bar staff were very friendly and helpful
Basically, the room was very good, with limitations noted below.

Cons:

Like so many hotel bedrooms these days, the room was minimalistic. It was 'cosy', as described and comfortable but it had practically no shelf/storage place for people to put out those 'essential' items required when one is staying for a couple of days or more, without having to balance them on their suitcases. There could be an extra shelf in the wardrobe fitting and small shelves under the bedside tables, which could make so much difference, without taking up floor space. These are simply obvious examples of potential improvements,
And, of course, as an Englishman, the lack of tea/coffee making facilities could have been a deal breaker, had it not been for the compensating qualities of the hotel mentioned above.

Pros:

Zeer goed en vlot ontvangen, kregen al dadelijk onze kamers toegewezen ook al waren we te vroeg daar. De ligging is ideaal, dicht bij het station en het centrum. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid. Is voor herhaling vatbaar.
