Very disappointing and completely overpriced for what it is.
We booked Cartez after reading the overwhelmingly positive reviews, and honestly, we felt they were extremely misleading. The hotel is tiny, dated, and generally feels very worn and tired. Everything—from the common areas to the room—looks like it has seen better days.
Our room was extremely small, and the overall condition simply did not match the price we paid. There is a big difference between a small, charming boutique hotel and a small, worn-out hotel charging prices that suggest a much higher level of quality.
The location is convenient, but that alone does not justify the price. We left feeling that the price-to-quality ratio was completely unreasonable.
If you are considering this hotel, I would strongly recommend looking at the photos carefully and managing your expectations. Based on the reviews, we expected something modern, comfortable, and well maintained. That was not our experience at all.
For the price we paid, there are much better options in Yerevan.

Приятный персонал. Очень удачное расположение в центре города. Чисто, достаточно свежий ремонт. Кондиционеры во всех номерах. Большие телевизоры. Чайник, питьевая вода, зубные щетки - все обновляется регулярно.
Двухместный номер реально очень маленький. Негде даже поставить чемодан. Считаю, что в таком номере можно было бы поставить кровать не кингсайз размера, а чуть меньшего, это спасло бы ситуацию. С трехместным номером таких проблем не было - места было достаточно.
Located near museums and tourist attractions.
Booking: After booking they sent me a link for payment which I denied as I booked via booking.com and told them if I can cancel if they want. They said it’s fine and then kept asking for external payments. They contacted me multiple times and each time with a different reason regarding this payment which was a headache having to spend so much time explaining standard procedures to them. They ended up asking me to pay in full the first day, which is unusual but ai didn’t mind.
Breakfast: I had requested vegan breakfast upon booking which they confirmed they can accommodate however out of 7 days, there were only two days which they had one vegan option. Also nothing was labelled so I had to guess.
When I reported this after day three, they didn’t seem to care.
Room service: the booking was for two people but they would only leave towels and other refills for one and at one point no towels at all. Bedding was only changed once and they took the slippers after a few days and didn’t even leave one pair.
Exceptional staff, perfect location in the center of the city, ideal for walking tours, with a good breakfast included to start the day!
Отдыхали с супругой , все было хорошо. Понравилось обстановка комнат, чистота и обслуживание персонала. Впервые в Ереване , но уже хочется вернуться снова побывать у вас ! Спасибо за тёплый прием.

Прекрасная локация. Отель в самом центре города и в тихом внутреннем дворе одновременно. Персонал отзывчивый и профессиональный. Вкусный и разнообразный завтрак на любой вкус: холодные и горячие домашние блюда. Белье в номере чистое, новое. Продуманный дизайн, правильно организовано пространство даже в маленьком номере. Цена-качество соответствуют друг другу.
Осталась очень довольна своим пребыванием в отеле Cartez. Особенно порадовал завтрак — очень разнообразный. Для меня это особенно важно, поскольку у меня аллергия на многие продукты.
Также хочу передать огромную благодарность сотруднику ресепшена Гамлету за прекрасное обслуживание. Сразу видно, что человек — профессионал своего дела!

Проживала 2 ночи в данном отеле в Люксе и Полулюксе. Номера симпатичные . Местоположение в самом центре , от площади 5 мин пешком. Отель очень чистый , особенно пастельные белье
Завтраки на 2 ! Мало того , что ассортимент маленький , так его еще не бывало в наличии . К кофе был один вид из десерта , и то если застанешь последний кусочек
Everything was amazing! The hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff is very attentive and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. Everything was well taken care of, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Definitely will come back again!

Холодильник в шкафу, не слышно как работает. Кондиционер индивидуальный.
Еду можно разогреть в микроволновке в любое время.
Питьевая вода в свободном доступе.
Напор и температура в душе хорошие.
Завтраки однообразные. За 5 дней почти не было новых блюд. Нет лимона к чаю.
В душевой кабине всегда протекала вода на пол, приходилось накладывать полотенца, чтобы вода не вытекла в комнату на ковровое покрытие. Ванная комната сделана не эффективно. По следам на ковровом покрытие, понятно, что затопление уже было.
В детской комнате кровать под потолком. Сама комната очень маленькая. Очень душно, тк там нет кондиционера, а из комнаты охлажденный воздух почти не попадает. Немного спасало открытое окно, но каждую ночь приезжал мусоровоз и в течении 20 мин работал издавая громкие звуки. Окна в номере выходили прямо на мусорные контейнеры, но хорошо был 4 этаж.

We honestly really loved the location, the apartment and breakfast were ok.
The staff weren’t friendly nor helpful, the value for money wasn’t as expected, it’s a bit poor for the money we’re paying!
