The room is incredibly spacious, giving a real sense of comfort and freedom, and even the bathroom is generously sized—it's perfect for those who value ease and accessibility. It truly feels like a caring, thoughtful place, especially suited for elders. And the breakfast? Absolutely delightful—rich in quality and flavor, making each morning feel special.

Cons:

It's not really a big issue, but the staff was quite firm, insisting that we sit exactly where they wanted us to. Even though we're a family of eight and there's a long table available, they were quite insistent on their choice.

ganz zauberhaftes Hotel am See mit unglaublich freundlichen Menschen, die darin arbeiten .........
Pros:

Die Lage ist genial. wenige km von Blankenberge und Brügge, aber total ruhig an einem idyllischen See gelegen. Kostenlose und ausreichende Parkplätze vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig ebenso das Bad. Ich habe mich über den Wasserkocher und die Tee und Kaffeebeutel gefreut, genauso wie den Mini Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Was für ein angenehmer Service. Das Frühstück war vielseitig. Ganz leckeres Baguette und sehr feine Salami und Käse. Und vieles mehr - ich glaube nicht, dass da Wünsche offen bleiben. Das ganze Hotel ist top sauber und gepflegt - angenehm ist auch das Restaurant, in dem man zu Abend essen kann. Man muss aber reservieren -sollte man wissen. das Angebot ist jetzt nicht so üppig, aber ausreichend. Es gibt eine Terasse , von der man sehr schön auf den See schauen kann und seine Mahlzeit oder sein Getränk geniessen kann. In dem Hotel waren einige Rollstuhlfahrer , Familie mit Kindern und Gäste mit Hunden. Für alle ist Platz und Gastfreundschaft vorhanden. Jeder ist willkommen und für jeden wird gesorgt. Gerade für die Rollstuhlfahrer wird viel getan, was ich so noch nicht gesehen habe. Es muss schön sein für solche Gäste, auch mal so bequem Urlaub machen zu können. Also alles in allem ist das Hotel für Ruhe suchende ein Juwel. Morgens und Abends den gut ausgebauten Seerundweg bei Vogelgesang entlang spazieren zu können und wilde Kaninchen beobachten, das hat schon sehr viel an Erholungpotenzial. Ich bin jedenfalls froh, hier gewesen zu sein und werde mit Sicherheit wieder kommen.

Nice location, very big rooms, adjustable beds, quiet, good free WiFi, OK breakfast.
Nice to see that the place was getting a fresh layer of paint (having stayed there several times before).

Cons:

Semi-automatic doors are nice, except when they develop a mind of their own and by all means want to close when I want them to open and vice versa.
