Prima budget B&B voor een of twee nachten, maar wisselvallige klantvriendelijkheid
Pros:

Gastheer/eigenaar vriendelijk en is heel bereid ook een andere taal te spreken, zelfs Nederlands. Ontbijt was prima verzorgd. Kamers verrassend netjes en modern (de rest van het pand een stuk minder). Tijdens diner ook prima eten (niet inbegrepen)

Cons:

Ontvangst was wat chaotisch, maar dat kwam ook omdat ik tijdens diner arriveerde (er zit ook een restaurant bij), maar midden in het restaurant blijven wachten was wel wat ongemakkelijk. Service tijdens diner van de serveerster was erg ondermaats. Ik werd vaak overgeslagen, en ondanks dat ik meermaals in het Engels contact zocht, sprak ze me iedere keer weer toe (met afwezige vriendelijkheid) in het Frans (terwijl ze prima Engels kon).

Topp Unterkunft vor dem Hohen Venn!
Pros:

Sehr netter Empfang. Konnten unser Zimmer sofort beziehen. Abendessen und Frühstück 👍. Fahrräder konnten sicher untergestellt werden.
Wir würden wieder bei Chez Phil übernachten.

Bon acceuil et calme
Pros:

Hotel très calme. Bonne literie. TV avec 3 chaines francaises. Bonne table. Petit dejeuner copieux pour 10 euros. Bon acceuil. Proximité de Malmedy et du circuit de spa. Sûrement a l'année prochaine !

Pros:

Je viens de passer 5 nuits dans cet hôtel. Que des points positifs... Très bien placé, vous tournez à droite et hop, cette jolie nationale vous mène aux différentes balades, notamment celles depuis le Signal de Botrange et la Baraque Michel, y'a même pas besoin de GPS... Pour ma part, nuits calmes, super bien dormi... Petit déjeuner correct, et souper tous les jours, à des prix raisonnables (n'oubliez pas de réserver), et le proprio répond très rapidement aux messages sur Booking... Mais surtout, le plus gros + de cet hôtel, c'est la chambre solo avec le lit simple, à 40 euros la nuit, merci de penser aux gens qui voyagent seul, c'est bien trop rare pour être souligné... Le tarif est tout simplement imbattable et le rapport qualité/prix est respecté 🙂 Enfin, ayant fait pas mal de balades dans les Hautes Fagnes, et si ça peut servir à ceux qui viennent juste un ou deux jours, je vous sélectionne mes coups de cœur : ❤️ la grande ronde des Fagnes (8,7 km), ❤️ tour de la Brackvenn (6,8 km), ❤️ panorama sur la réserve (7,8 km), et ❤️ la fagne de Sourbrodt (8,1 km) 🙂 Les tracés sont téléchargeables sur le site web des cantons de l'Est, dans la fiche de chaque balade 😉

Cons:

Entrance at the end is a Kitchen where door was always wide open… Hence there was a smell throughout the property… Carpets needed a good vacuum clean
