A great base for Perito Moreno Glacier
Pros:

Location is superb, with lots of amazing places to eat and drink within walking distance. A really lovely little town that felt really, really safe. A peaceful hotel with a nice outside area to relax in. Rooms were a good size and clean.

Cons:

The breakfast was a little basic and I didn't enjoy the coffee, was a tad stewed. My partner is nervous of dogs so the strays in the area made him a little uneasy at first, especially as they tend to follow you and wait outside the hotel / restaurant doors, without anyone moving them on. However, once we learned they are communally looked after and are friendly (unlike strays at home) my partner settled into the idea and quite liked them in the end!

Très agréable séjour, endroit charmant et tranquille
Pros:

Notre chambre était très grande et bien décorée, avec une très belle vue sur le jardin de l'hôtel et le lac. Nous avons apprécié le confort du lit et la propreté de la chambre. L'hôtel est doté de plusieurs salons et d'une grande salle à manger. On peut commander un petit lunch au besoin quand on part pour la journée en excursion. L'hôtel est situé à une dizaine de minutes du centre mais il y a par contre deux très bons restaurants juste à côté. C'est un endroit que je recommande absolument.

El hotel es hermoso, las vistas increíbles, muchos espacios para estar y muy cómodas las habitaciones. el desayuno delicioso. La ubicación ideal, cerca de todo dentro del pueblo.

Overall a good and comfortable place for overnight stay.

Cons:

Depend the room allocated, we have to work two flights of stairs then deep down the corridor. Carpark at the front (on the main road) is very limited.

Unfortunate place to stay for last impression of El Calafate, a beautiful place.
Pros:

The only good thing was the young man at reception who tried his best to make up for the hotel's issues.

Cons:

Heat did not work. Sheets were dirty. Other than the above mentioned young man at check in, the staff were unfriendly.
