Der Herr, der das Frühstück gemacht hat war sehr, sehr nett und bemüht. Sonst war kein Personal da.
Die Lage ist sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war ein Friedhof für Gelsenleichen an den Wänden. Und Wohnzimmer für Spinnen. Leider konnte man das Fenster nicht schliessen wegen der Hitze. Keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Und Schimmel in der Ecke.

Ich werde das Haus nie wieder buchen und niemandem empfehlen.

keine Rezeption und somit kein Ansprechpartner, an den Ruhetagen des Restaurants gab es nur eine fürs Frühstück zuständige Person, die Einrichtung des Hauses und der Zimmer hat sich sicherlich seit den sechziger Jahren nicht verändert. Das Hause wirkte ungelüftet und hatte einen entsprechenden Mief. Das Treppengeländer war wackelig und klebrig. In den vier Tagen unseres Aufenthaltes wurden kein einziges Mal die Betten gemacht, Abfallkübel nicht geleert und schon gar nicht die Zimmer gereinigt. Das zweite Doppelzimmer wurde nur von einer Person bewohnt. Das inkludierte Frühstück wurde mit vier mal fünf Euro bei der Rechnung berücksichtigt. Das Frühstück war zwar nett hergerichtet, aber jeden zweiten Tag war die Wurst ranzig und das Gebäck alt und aufgebacken.

Decent hotel up a steep hill, but restaurant closed Monday/Tuesday
Pros:

Decent old style hotel on the top of a hill with a view over the town. It was self check-in with no staff there, but it worked well. Breakfast was not bad, but no hot options. WiFi was good.

Cons:

The bed was a bit hard, and the bathroom fan was noisy. No coffee in room or elsewhere in the hotel, as the restaurant is closed Monday & Tuesday and we happened to be on a Monday (there is a decent restaurant 10 minutes walk down the hill, though).

Cons:

Keine Seife im Bad/ Dusche , Kein Zimmerservice, es wurden keine Betten gemacht! In dem Gang zum Zimmer roch es muffig. Alles in allem etwas veraltet. Für 2 Nächte war es soweit Ok.
