Es gibt in der Umgebung gastfreundlichere Hotels
Pros:

der Empfang bei der Ankunft war sehr nett und toll. Die Lage ist toll, direkt am Wasser.

Cons:

Leider wurden wir dann am nächsten Tag beim Frühstück sehr unfreundlich behandelt. Leider gibt es auch keine Milchvariationen für Laktose intollerante Personen. Zu teuer für den Service.

Pros:

Tolle Lage und wunderschöner Blick über die Donau von der Terrasse und dem Balkon. Komfortable Zimmer und gute, österreichische Wirtshausküche.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind sehr gepflegt, aber das Bad hätte etwas Pflege gebraucht. Ich habe keine Möglichkeit gefunden das Zimmer abends abzudunkeln und die Gardine lässt noch sehr viel Licht durch.

Top Lage, freundliches Personal, kein Insektenschutz

Top Lage direkt an der Donau.
Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Keine Insektengitter; dadurch konnten wir nachts nicht lüften und mussten das Frühstück im Speisesaal in Gesellschaft eines Fliegenschwarms verbringen. Außerdem schmückten zahlreiche Insektenkadaver unsere Zimmerwände; Sauberkeit sieht anders aus, aber zumindest verhungert so die große Spinne an der Decke nicht.
Sehr hellhörige Wände, die Gespräche im Nachbarzimmer waren deutlich zu hören.
Das Essen war sehr gut, aber leider ziemlich kleine Portionen.

We liked the hotel’s location. It is a cosy and peaceful place by the river, with swans nearby.

Cons:

However, there were no insect screens to keep out flies and mosquitoes, especially in the restaurant. Many flies were landing on our faces, mouths, food - everywhere. Fly swatters were placed near the tables, but this is not something I would like to deal with while eating.

At the end of our stay, when the staff asked whether we had enjoyed everything, we mentioned this as a suggestion for improvement. Unfortunately, the response and reaction we received were not polite.

One more detail for animal lovers: the hotel is filled with taxidermy animals throughout the property.

This was a very good choice of stay when cycling the Danube path.
Pros:

Perfect place if you are cycling the Danube path. Ferry is very close by. Rooms with a nice with great view of the river, super friendly staff, restaurant with a very good menu and an outside balcony. Private patio to keep your bicycle safe and charging stations for e-bikes. Everything was great.
