Good value for money
Pros:

It is what it claims to be: a 2 star hotel. Rooms are a bit small and you share toilet and/or shower as advertised. But everything was clean and adequate, the staff was nice and helpful, the position is good and the value for money is excellent.

The room was spacious and the hotel was in a nice location for a pretty affordable price.

Cons:

1) While the linens and towels seemed to be clean, there were dead bugs on the floor, which made it seem like the room wasn't cleaned before I moved in. 2) I stayed there during the almost 40 degrees weather, and when you walked into the room, it was like walking into a car that stood under the sun... it was so warm and stuffy... And while I understand that the weather is not the hotel's fault, I felt they could have provided the guests with at least a little fan for the room (not even asking for air conditioning)... It would have just showed some more care and customer service towards the guests. 3) Lastly, the staff member made a mistake on my receipt, and said only the manager the next morning can correct it. The manager next morning, however, said that the mistake had to be corrected on-the-spot the day before, but that now it was too late. It's only after I really insisted that the mistake was corrected, but they said they couldn't re-print the receipt for me and just sent it by email instead. It was just a bit odd... All of this kind of tarnished the experience a bit, despite the good points mentioned above.

Points of Improvement
Pros:

Location, front desk staff personality, luggage storage and Self check-in mechanism after reception working hours.

Cons:

I informed the Hotel, weeks in advance, I will be coming by a train to Linz after 5pm. However, I had limited internet access and THE information regarding self check-in (using a code to obtain room KEY) was given to me in short notice before I reached the Hotel. Thank god my friend (who booked a separate room in the same hotel) was given the self check-in instructions, weeks in advance, and told me to try a certain code similar in nature to his code & it worked.

No fan was provided as the room was warm.

Wifi was very weak on Floor 3 & didnt work (connected without internet) the next day before I checked out.

Room service staff were speaking to each other loudly while making up the other vacant room next to me, although it was morning time (before 8am). I am sure they didn't realize that.
