Pros:

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

It feels so homely, and the entire atmosphere of the place is amazing and beautifully decorated. The staff are incredibly friendly, especially the restaurant team. The food is excellent at both breakfast and dinner.

Another great bonus is the Stubai Super Card, which you get when staying there. It gives you free public transport + free access to all 4 cable cars in the valley + free alpine coaster ride.

The room is lovely, with a balcony, and the location is perfect, just a 5 minute walk to the bus stop, making it easy to explore the whole valley.

Cons:

It wasn’t a problem for me, but I can see it being a problem for someone else. The toilet / shower room is really tiny. It’s really really tiny.

Im Almhof hatten wir beinahe einen Almrausch
Pros:

Vorneweg: Wir haben nicht in der Pension Almrausch, die wir gebucht hatten, übernachtet. Wir wurden in den Almhof umgebucht. Das war aber wie ein Upgrade, weil die Mahlzeiten ja im Almhof stattfinden und wir so nicht zu einem anderen Gebäude laufen mussten. Es ist alles etwas in die Jahre gekommen und entsprechend hellhörig. Aber es fehlt einem an nichts und die Zimmer sind recht gemütlich. Parken kann man direkt vor dem Haus. Und bei unserer Ankunft um 20.00 Uhr hätten wir sogar noch ein Abendessen bekommen, wenn wir gewollt hätten. Wir haben uns dann aber lieber noch was von der Bar geholt... :-)

Für Skifahren praktisch, wenn man nich zu lange im Zimmer verweilt.
Pros:

Das Essen war gut, sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen. Dies entsprach den Erwartungen. Dass wir zum Essen eine Stück gehen mussten war im Vorfeld bekannt und auch keine Problem.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen. Das ganze Haus riecht muffig. Das Bad war in Ordnung. Die Duschwanne hatte keinen Duschvorhang, was eigentlich ein leichtes wäre - so waren bei den Kindern Überschwemmungen im Bad nicht zu verhindern...In Punkto Freundlichkeit haben wir schon höhere Standards erlebt.
