Pros:

Well refurbished rooms and shared bathrooms

Cons:

The after hours back entrance doors remained chocked wide open all night opposite my room letting in the cold and being insecure despite patrons being given a key to the back entrance. I guess someone forgot to close it up .

Pros:

The location was good, room and shared bathroom was fab - bathrooms have been renovated and are very fancy. I heard noise from the pub downstairs - band but my friend slept through it. Meals were value for money at pub.

A good stop on during my bike packing trip.
Pros:

Nice location, nice set-up with a history. Food was good. Facilities spotless.

Cons:

But due to the old building, you can hear what's going on in the corridor and other rooms if unlucky. Staff is helpful and friendly but could be a tad more welcoming.

Cons:

Management is pathetic , a private party crashed the hotel garden room after hours , drinking with there own music blasting to midnight . There was an emergency number to call after hours , it just went to message. What’s the point having an emergency number when you don’t answer . Got next to no sleep ! Ended up calling the police do they came and shut it down. Take some responsibility management !

Great place for a nights accommodation on the way through town. Large menu selection and the food was great!
