Convenient, comfortable and functional pub accommodation.
Pros:

Conveniently located to the city centre, offering reasonable value for money. The room was sparse but functional.

Cons:

The room felt a little tired, but more than sufficient for an overnight stay.

All in all it works for a stay
Pros:

Ok for budget.
Pros:

The scent you use for the corridors is nice! The location is good too.

Cons:

The tap in the bathroom was running constantly couldn't turn it off. Very annoying when trying to sleep. I know that it was a long weekend and hard to fix but it was happening no doubt before we got into the room.
Other than that it was ok.

Bare bones room in a great location.
Pros:

The George hotel has a great location. Right in the centre of town, walking distance to all the shops, and only a 5 minute drive to the track.

The room is very basic. A bed, a tiny bar fridge, a kettle and a portable air conditioner. The bed was super comfortable.

Cons:

There was no chair, lounge, desk or wardrobe in the room, so all your belongings end up staying on the floor.

They did not have a house keeping service. I stayed 4 nights, and never got fresh towels or the bin emptied.

Also, as the portable AC has big pipes that vent to the window, the blinds don’t close properly, so the outside lights keep the room well lit at night. And the noise from the bats in the park across the road is quite loud.

The room also needs a good clean.
