Agréable séjour à Berat
Pros:

Nous avons apprécié l'emplacement très central dans Berat, la qualité du petit déjeuner avec des produits frais (du jardin), le calme des chambres et l'accueil de notre hote

Cons:

L'accès à la place de stationnement n'était pas suffisamment claire lors de la réservation. Il semblerait qu'une place de stationnement soit prévu proche de l'hôtel moyennant un supplément. Toutefois, faute d'information claire, nous avons payé un parking plus loin et plus cher. Aleksandr s'est toutefois montré arrangeant pour résoudre ce problème

Très joli, mais frais cachés excessifs
Pros:

La maison a beaucoup de charme, très bien décoré, très joli terrasse. L’hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter la ville.

Cons:

Nous avons du payer 15€/nuit en plus pour un lit bébé ce qui est énorme, surtout sans prévenir en amont. Nous avons aussi dîner a l’hôtel, les prix sont clairement excessifs, le vin et l’eau sont au prix de Paris … le parking est payant bien sûr. Tout ceci gâche le séjour, on sent que c’est très mercantile, et malheureusement pas compensé par un hôte chaleureux ni sympathique.

Pros:

Der Besitzer war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Er hat Tipps zur Umgebung gegeben und war sehr zuvorkommend.
Außerdem gab es jeden Morgen ein total ausgewogenes Frühstück aus eigenem Anbau mit selbst angebautem Obst und Gemüse sowie Oliven und selbstgemachte Marmelade. Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt!

Une ville incroyable dans un hôtel magique
Pros:

Chambre agréable. Hotel idéalement situé à Berat avec pour le petit déjeuner une vue imprenable sur la ville. Si vous venez en voiture, place de parking payant réservé à l’hôtel situé en face (demander à l’hôte)

Perfect om Berat en omgeving te verkennen in 2.5 dagen
Pros:

Aleksander is een toffe host die zijn hotel op een perfecte plek runt. Het terras waar het ontbijt wordt geserveerd heeft een prachtig uitzicht, en het ontbijt is heerlijk vers en zeker genoeg. De lieve hond van Aleksander (Kiko) en de katten waren een leuke bonus. De airconditioning in de kamer werkte goed en alles voelde schoon aan. Er zijn verschillende barren, restaurants en winkeltjes in de straat en een wandeling naar zowel het kasteel van Berat of het centrum was goed te doen.

Cons:

"Gratis parkeren" was niet gratis, dat kon alleen als we de auto een heel stuk verder weg neer zouden zetten en Aleksander gaf aan dat je daar op moet passen zodat je geen parkeerboete krijgt. Tegen een vergoeding kun je dichterbij parkeren bij een buur hotel, waar je je plaats moet blokkeren met een pion. We zijn op andere plaatsen in Albanië hartelijker ontvangen, en het was wat lastig om de locatie te vinden en de auto te parkeren voordat we een echte parkeerplek toegewezen kregen. Ook kwam er weinig daglicht onze kamer in, en werden er 's nachts wakker van de gebeden bij de moskeeën in de buurt.

Pros:

Location great. But the free parking is not free unless you walk 800 meter to the local parking in the new city. You have to pay for the one outside the hotel.
Payment for the room was a bit of a scam. The price from booking.com was converted several times by the hotelowner and ended up being a lot more than it should. First from my local currency into euro and then into LEK.
The breakfast was not impressive. And worst of all. I forgot some private belongings in the room. Wrote to the owner, who insisted on not finding it. Then after some time it showed up. By that time I was on my way out of the country but knowing that I would have a brief stopover after a week I wrote and asked if it would be possible to mail it to my hotel in Tirana. No answer. I tried calling several times but was ignored.
Would I recommend a stay. Not so much.

Cons:

Everything but the view and the owners dog.

Wunderschöne Anlage mit sehr gutem Frühstück.
Pros:

Wunderschönes Anwesen mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail. Der Gastgeber war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir bekamen sehr gute Tipps zur Gestaltung unseres Aufenthalts.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war sehr klein, dadurch war die Luftzirkulation leider nicht gut.

Gem of a boutique hotel in a superb location with exceptional views, food, service, and value for money, we loved it.
Pros:

Absolute gem of a small boutique hotel, Aleksander & Greta have renovated this old building right in the middle of the UNESCO area of Berat to a very high standard with incredible attention to detail. The small terrace for dining was just beautiful, specifically the views across town to the mountains beyond. Food excellent, mostly from their garden, cannot fault the place. Our kids loved the cats and dog!!!

Very special place located in the middle of the old historical place. A place that we will never forget.
We are grateful to the kind hospitality of Alexander, the owner of the villa who patiently share with us the history of this place and family. Thank you Alexander for helping us with the trolleys from parking through the alleys of the old historical city.

Super gute Lage zu laufen aber schlecht mit Auto. Vom Parkplatz muss man alle Koffer über einen 300 m steilen Weg mit Kopfsteinpflastern hochschleppen. Dachterasse ist richtig cool

Non si poteva pagare con carta di credito e sul sito booking alla prenotazione NON viene specificato. Dovete comunicarlo in fase di prenotazione. Non avevamo contanti locali siamo dovuti andare a prelevare
