Wonderful and relaxing experience by the river! Great restaurant and very friendly staff!
Pros:

Everything was perfect! Very clean and organized hotel. Great restaurant! Rooms are very comfortable and very friendly staff. The hotel and it`s restaurant is at a river side. Wonderful and relaxing! Very close to the mountains and the famous Rila Monastery. Highly recommend!

Eine super Unterkunft in der Nähe des Rila Klosters, perfekt für einige entspannte Ferientage
Pros:

Die Lage direkt am Fluss ist sehr schön, auf der kleinen Terrasse sitzen und sich entspannen ist ein wahrer Genuss. Der sehr freundliche Besitzer spricht sehr gut Deutsch und gab uns viele Tipps und Informationen. Wir erfuhren von ihm sehr viel über das Leben in Bulgarien. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und wird frisch zubereitet. Auch das Abendessen war sehr gut.

The location is amazing. Right by the river. You can sit out on the deck of your chalet listening to the river - beautiful
I don't understand some of the comments about cleanliness, my chalet was clean.

Cons:

It would be nice to have a hairdryer and a decent mirror in the room.

Nice and quiet stay with my dogs
Pros:

My dogs and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Valdis. Our host was very friendly and spoke English very well. I asked him if he knew a vet for one of my dogs and within the hour there was one on the premises. The location is wonderful, close to a stream and within 15 minutes (by car) of the Rila Monastery. We did a lovely hike behind the monastery through te mountains. It was very quiet. I ate at the restaurant in the main building and it was great. I enjoyed our stay very much.

Pros:

Bien situado de camino a rila. La casita te la vistas al río y era muy relajante. Muy atento el chico que nos atendió y la mujer que nos dió el desayuno por la mañana hablaba español. Nos dieron unas zapatillas que agradecimos ya que nos sirvió para llevarlas al resto de hoteles que visitamos en nuestro viaje por bulgaria.

Πολύ καλό κατάλυμμα μέσα στη φύση.
Pros:

Η τοποθεσία του καταλύμματος με τον εξωτερικό του χώρου. Η ευγένια του προσωπικού .

Cons:

ίσως η μεγάλη χρέωση για το πρωινό του . Επίσης κατα την άφιξή μας έκαναν εργασίες σε όλη τη ρεσεψιον και δεν είχαν προλάβει να τις ολοκληρώσουν πριν φτάσουμε.

Pros:

La zona. Rodeado de pinos y un río, muy bonito y tranquilo. Con nieve en invierno o en verano con la piscina y la barbacoa tiene que ser genial estar ahí.

La habitación muy calentita, y el agua de la ducha también.

Cons:

Todo fue bien. El restaurante estaba cerrado porque era temporada baja, pero me avisaron nada más llegar. Así que todo fue conforme a lo esperado.

We booked for two nights but left after one because we couldn't stand the cold anymore.
Pros:

The staff was friendly. There was a nice dog and sweet cats around. The location by the river was nice.

Cons:

It was just cold all the time. Cold in the room itself, cold in the restaurant, freezing in the bathroom. We used the AC but it didn't get comfortable. The meals were really underwhelming.
