A nice, clean hotel in a very good location.
Pros:

The rooms and everything we used were very clean.
Beds very comfortable.

My request for an upper floor with view to the mountains was granted. Thank you, Herr Lachtner ?)/management/owners! 😊 The view absolutely breathtaking.

The staff very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Breakfast buffet well-stocked, offering an abundance and many choices. Clean. Dining room lovely as well.

We received a welcome package when we checked in. In addition to a booklet and map, a visitor's card for each guest. This allowed us to use the buses unlimited without paying. It also offers you entrance to certain swimming pools and spas, some in Schladming, and discounts to cable cars, and many recreational activities. We only used the bus so I can't tell you about all the discounts or free services, activities it includes, but there is a website.

Can't comment on Wifi since didn't try it. They have a pool, but didn't get around to using it. I imagine it clean and they provide bath robes and towels, I believe.

We were able to keep our luggage at the hotel for almost an afternoon so that we could still enjoy the area (hiking, sight-seeing) before we departed the resort.

The location of the hotel very convenient for people without a car as the bus stop is right around the corner.

The bus on that route takes you up to a location you could catch a cable-car up to the Dachstein. But beware of time for last bus that takes you back down. We only had about fifteen minutes to take in the views before last bus took us down. So, no cable car up to top for us, but the bus trip was still worth it!

A lovely, historic church right next to the hotel.

There is a grocery store (Billa) within walking distance and the next town just a bit more of a walk uphill (twenty-minute walk, depending on your walking speed of course.) Some nice restaurant close-by, but we didn't try another nice-looking one in the town of Ramsau.)

Tons of hiking trails and buses to get there.

Cons:

There was some additional charge from hotel--not much, €7 - but I didn't understand what it was for. When I made my reservation with Booking.com, it said all taxes and fees included.

There is no wait staff for the outdoor cafe. It is self-service, which is difficult for older people and others. A beautiful hotel without servers asking for and bringing your order.

Then, there was something at the bar that was advertised, but confusing, about all-inclusive drinks with the Hotel Post Card. It looked like we had a card labeled "Hotel Post Card" but that was not accepted. Later I found out that one needed to pay €30 for the all-inclusive drinks, which I understand, but I don't recall getting that offer on Booking, nor at check-in. I may have bought it had I known about it

Then, when we arrived (around 13:30), the restaurant was closed. It was really lunch time and we were traveling since morning. We would have loved to have a good, nice lunch without having to seek another place, especially since reservation desk not yet open. (See next paragraph.)

Then, when we arrived, we had to wait a half hour because the reception did not open again until 2:00 p.m. (14:00).

Kurzaufenthalt
Pros:

Charmantes Hotel in schön gelegener Lage.
Erinnerung an zurück liegenden Zeiten. Es muß nicht immer High Ende sein um sich Wohl zu fühlen. Es mangelt an nichts. Super Essen und nettes Personal runden den Aufenthalt ab!

Cons:

Unscheinbare Kleinigkeiten sollten nicht negativ gewertet sein

Wir würden dort nicht mehr übernachten.

Das Hotel war gut zu erreichen. Es gab einen schönen Balkon.

Cons:

Im Hotel war die Rezeption dauerhaft nicht besetzt. Bei der Anreise war niemand zu finden. Man musste jemanden aus der Küche holen. Es kam dann ein Kollege, der Deutsch sprach. Am nächsten Tag sprach in der Küche nur eine Kollegin gut Deutsch. Sie war sehr unhöflich und meinte, sie sei nicht zuständig. Die Chefin sei zu Hause und sie würde jetzt auch gleich gehen. Beim Auschecken war auch wieder kein Kollege an der Rezeption. Mehrere Gäste legten nach langem Warten den Schlüssel dann einfach auf den Tresen und gingen.
