Da ich an COVID erkrankt war, bat ich meine Frau, an der Rezeption nachzufragen, ob sie mir etwas vom bereits bezahlten Frühstück mit aufs Zimmer bringen könnte. Das wurde ohne jede Hilfsbereitschaft abgelehnt. Die einzige Antwort war sinngemäß: „Das geht nicht, Sie haben bereits bezahlt.“ Danach schaute die Mitarbeiterin einfach weiter auf ihren Computer bildschirm, keinerlei Empathie und keinerlei Versuch, eine vernünftige Lösung zu finden.

Daraufhin wollte ich das Frühstück stornieren und die 50 € zurückerstattet bekommen. Auch das wurde abgelehnt. Somit blieb mir nur die Wahl, entweder auf ein bereits teuer bezahltes Frühstück zu verzichten oder trotz COVID zum Buffet zu gehen. Am Ende musste ich tatsächlich den Frühstücksraum betreten und dadurch möglicherweise andere Gäste einem unnötigen Infektionsrisiko aussetzen.

Es hätte eine ganz einfache und verantwortungsvolle Lösung gegeben: Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse ist ein solches Verhalten gegenüber kranken Gästen wirklich eine Frechheit.
