The location is excellent, within walking distance of everything downtown. And the parking facility at the end of the block is very affordable.
The room we stayed in was tiny and would work best for a solo traveler without much luggage. We ended up using a trash can filled with ice to keep our perishable food items "refrigerated."
Great location.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.
Personnel gentil, accueillant, Propreté des lieux et situation géographie près de tout. Nous étions en vélo et la piste de vélo de la confédération trail est tout près.
Staff was friendly
My room was not clean. There was pet hair everywhere. Basic things such as a shower cap is not provided. Towels were noticeably worn and frayed. Room is super small and the price was not cheap for the room. There were ppl walking barefoot in the reception and the floor was all wet.
We really liked the shower.
We could not park close to the door.
Chambre propre, Style très moderne minimaliste, très bien situé
Pas de télé , pas de catetière, pas de sèche-cheveux. salon au 2 ieme avec cafetière payante pas bon pour un long séjour
No breakfast
No coffee machine
No television
High price
Lack of usual amenities
The Arts Hotel was immaculate, from the lobby to the elevator to the room and shared lounge. The bed was comfy and the bathroom and shower were great. Our room was a small one and there was an efficient layout with a bedside table on each side and a small desk and chair. All the finishes are new and attractive.
The location is great, within easy walk to Victoria Row, the Confederation Centre Art Gallery and theatre and many shops and restaurants.
There is no parking directly at the hotel, but there is a drop off zone where you can leave your car for a few minutes while you check in. There is a parking tower just steps away so the parking issue was not a problem for us. The parking was inexpensive with the overnight rate being under $9. We even spent a good deal of the afternoon of the day following our stay visiting the area and that overnight rate did not increase.
There is no television in the room. We went to the shared lounge on the second floor to play a card game. There is a kitchenette there and vending machines and a laundry. The lounge is comfortable and convenient.
Great location, good value for money.
Room was over a arcade/bar that was extremely loud on Saturday night.
Location was great. Rooms were clean, bed very comfortable, shower was excellent.
Very well conceived, thought out property
I loved The Arts Hotel in Charlottetown because it had such a unique boutique feel and a personality of its own. The location was perfect for exploring downtown on foot, and after all the driving and adventures around PEI, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. It wasn’t just a place to sleep — it had character, charm, and that local vibe that made the stay feel like part of the experience.
I don’t have any specific complaints about the hotel itself.
