Pros:

L'hôtel était idéalement situé, à deux pas de l'entrée du Summer Resort. Personnel très gentil et aidant, notamment Allen qui était de très bon conseil et parlait anglais.

Super für einen Kurzbesuch in Chengde… Lage super!
Pros:

Eine tolle Lage, alles super zu erreichen! Schönes Hofhaus mit vielen kleinen Häusern! Unser Zimmer ganz einfach aber für eine Übernachtung prima! Leider gab es kein Frühstück ( da Nebensaison) das hätten wir gerne vorher gewusst, dann hätten wir etwas mitgebracht! Tee und Wasser gab es und das Team ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!!

Great hotel choice to tour Chengde

It’s located at the south entrance of the Imperial summer villa … so kilometers of beautiful walks.

Excellent location and hospitality.
Pros:

Location is superb - right next to the exit of the Mountain Villa. The staff were incredibly helpful. Allen in particular was hugely attentive with assistance in finding good local food, ordering and even sourcing the local rose pastry delicacy that I'd heard about. My room was wonderfully comfortable and spacious. Would be very happy to stay there again

Friendly wee place, enjoyable, very accessible to local attractions.
Pros:

Excellent location for walking and catching a bus to the mountain resort and parks. Staff were very helpful and good fun... especially as we speak Mandarin. The room was clean and cosy. Good hot water supply! Breakfasts were good with fresh local dishes including millet porridge, hot soya milk and lots of yummy vegetables. The garden and outdoor seats were pleasant with a variety of temperate flowers and fruit like quince in season.

Cons:

The window in the yurt was very small...facing a wall. Would appreciate a larger window with a view onto the garden.
There is music playing from the park behind... from morning til night...

Pros:

The old courtyard is extremely beautiful. The location is central and the staff is very helpful. The wooden chairs in our room had an imperial charm matching the emperor's throne from next door. The breakfast was good too.

Cons:

Everything was fine. Its a pity the courtyard isnt turned into a cafe or somethin.

A piece of history to stay in.
Pros:

Located next to the mountain resort and very short taxi rides to the various temples and the sledgehammer mountain. The court yard in front of the room is a good place to chill and if you have kids, they will love the place to run and play. Overall, a very good and comfortable stay. Definitely recommended!

Cons:

No breakfast, at least during the period we were staying, because it’s during the low peak period.
