Average stay with very basic facilities and rooms
Pros:

The hotel was clean and the surrounding was good. Very limited interactions with staff but they were alright.

Cons:

No AC, no lift, no water bottles, no hot water kettle in the room. Rooms are basic with a very very basic interior. Not too many restaurant close by. House keeping was average. Priced high compared to what it offers

It’s worth money, for short stay 1-3 nights is recommended, clean room and friendly staff

Cons:

1. The bathroom is really small, very tight and no toothbrush and toothpaste and water to drink at least 1 -2 bottles it’s will be great
2. The noise come from front door but the rest is really quiet no noise from windows even it near the way of train passing all the time

Great sized single room in very clean hotel next to Lake Lucern and Lido.
Pros:

Nice spacious, single room in very clean hotel near Lake. Bus and train stop right outside hotel, together with a supermarket and convenience store in petrol station. Walked into Centre in less than half an hour along Lake.

Cons:

Only downside was shower was located down one floor and set of stairs.

It was in a great location- a short drive around the lake to the centre.

Cons:

There were no blinds or curtains on the windows which made it difficult for my children to sleep. It’s a bit of a strange set up, part of a leisure centre or similar and so the check in area is in a main corridor. Felt a little odd but did the job for our overnight stop and the location made up for the rather basic facilities.

Sehr freundliches Personal, gute Verpflegung und eine angenehme Atmosphäre für Seminare.
Pros:

Die Anreise wurde sehr gut erklärt und das Hotel ist mit dem Bus sehr gut erreichbar. Ich wurde freundlich empfangen und mein Frühstück konnte ich problemlos über Booking.com reservieren. Das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat mir, dass das ganze Romerohaus sehr sauber und gepflegt war – die Gänge, WC-Anlagen und Seminarräume waren jederzeit in einem sehr guten Zustand. Auch die Einrichtung mit den schönen Kunstwerken hat eine angenehme Atmosphäre geschaffen.

Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig, frisch und mit guter Auswahl. Auch das Mittagessen war sehr lecker. Während des zweitägigen Kurses wurden wir in jeder Pause mit feiner Patisserie, Früchten, Chips, Salzstängeli und kleinen Snacks verwöhnt. Das gesamte Personal war immer sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich. Man fühlte sich jederzeit willkommen.

Cons:

Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war für mich nicht unbedingt notwendig und in der Nacht etwas hörbar. Zudem sind die Wände eher hellhörig, weshalb man Gespräche auf dem Gang oder in anderen Zimmern teilweise mitbekommen hat.

Im Treppenhaus ist mir gelegentlich ein etwas ungewohnter Geruch aufgefallen. Ansonsten habe ich mich im Romerohaus sehr wohlgefühlt.

A good hotel at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

The location was quite convenient: there were grocery stores, a bus stop, and the waterfront nearby. The city center was about a 30-minute walk or just 10 minutes by bus (which was free for hotel guests). The room was clean and tidy, and it had everything we needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially an employee named Andriy. He told us about local attractions and also shared some useful tips for tourists visiting Lucerne.
The hotel also has parking available for guests for 10 CHF.

Cons:

We felt that the breakfast could have been more varied.
There was no kettle in the room to make tea.
